Scarlett
It's Parent's day today. Dasmine immediately ran to me.
"My parents arent' coming,' she told me.
"Well, my father would come but it wouldn't be pleasant for anyone if he did, so, he's not coming either," I said back.
"Oh," she said shocked.
"What about you Anna?"Dasmine asked.
"My mom is coming but not my dad," Anna answered. "He didn't want me to come here."
"Parent's are fun aren't they," I said. They both laughed. We didn't have classes since the parents were going to be touring the school with their kids and chatting it up with the professors. Dasmine, Anna, and I went to have breakfast and waited with Anna until her mom came. After, Dasmine and I just went to go train. Dasmine was falling behind with her classmates. She wasn't shifting properly either.
"Are you scared?" I asked her.
"No, but it's weird," she said.
"You won't get better if you don't try," I said.
"I know," she whined.
"Just breathe," I said. I suddenly felt a thud in my heart. I looked around, knowing he was here. He was staring back at me when I finally spotted him. He was with who I assume were his parents. The man looked just like him, only older with salt and pepper hair. He looked concerned. His father didn't look happy either. They walked and I could tell his father was reprimanding him even though I couldn't hear them. This is when I wished I had super hearing.
Later That Night
"Hey," I said as I watched Colt enter my room. I was doing homework on my laptop.
"Hey," he said somberly. He came towards me and sat on my bed. "Here I got this for you." Colt pulled out a small box. He opened it and I grabbed the bracelet that laid inside it. It was a charm bracelet.
"You know you don't have to do things like this, right?" I said. "You're not my."
"Please," Colt said softly. Colt took the bracelet from me and helped me put it on. It had small star charms, a little wolf, and a crescent moon charm on it.
"It's pretty," I told him. He smiled slightly and kissed my hand. I put my laptop to the side so he could get closer to me. I reached for the back of his neck and pulled him in for a kiss. I don't know how long we were making out for but it was amazing.
"Scarlett, you mean everything to me," Colt said as he caught his breath. I cupped his face and looked deep into his eyes.
"I'm afraid of this, I'm afraid of you," I said softly. "You have the ability to break me and make me whole again." Colt kissed me deeply once more.
"I would never bre-ak you," his voice broke mid-sentence." I knew he was lying but I knew intentionally or not he would one day break me. This couldn't last much longer. He pushed me down on the bed and laid down next to me. I placed my head on his chest and felt myself relaxing. He kissed me over and over again until my eyelids became heavy. I took in his scent and let myself drift off to sleep.
~DREAM WORLD~
"Hello sister," Bast said.
"What is it?"
"Father heard about Veles and you,"
"What about it?"
"You had a confrontation with an S class demon, that isn't a small thing,"
"If father wants to punish me for putting an i***t in his place then so be it," I said.
"I am just letting you know, our father is now ready to go find you himself," Bast explained.
"Good,"
"You say that now,"
"Maybe it is time I go home,"
"I've missed you," Bast said as he came closer to me. He went behind me and began to massage my shoulders. "I will be nice to have you home."
"I bet it would," I said. Bast kissed the top of my right shoulder. "You're mask is coming out nicely."
"Isn't it?" he began to suck on the skin on my shoulder. I pushed him away. "Is this because of that boy?"
"No," I said sternly.
"Of course, why would it," Bast side slyly.
"Goodnight," I said.
"Goodnight sister,"
I woke up annoyed. It was still the middle of the night so I went out for a walk. I knew Colt would feel my absence so I made sure to use my power to block his senses.
"Out past your bedtime," Zero remarked.
"Skipping class again," I retorted. "Naughty boy."
"You have no idea," he smirked.
"So do the vampires get to go to this dance everyone is talking about?" I asked.
"Nope," Zero answered. "You should know that."
"They really pretend like they aren't scared of you vamps but they are truly terrified," I said.
"Well, if we decided to stand against them, we would win, would we not?" Zero questioned.
"You don't die easily and are immortal like demons," I said.
"So, what brings you out here?" Zero asked. "Not to chat it up with me."
"Why not?" I asked. "You are nice to talking to."
"Aren't I?" Zero smirked. "But tell me, what's wrong?"
"My father wants to come to look for me," I told Zero.
"Oh,"
"Yeah, and I don't know how much Demon knowledge you have but I am kind of important," I said. "He is kind of hella important."
"You are the Demon King's daughter," he said. "The father of hell is your father. The king of hell. Wow."
"Okay relax," I laughed.
"Woah, I don't know if I should bow or curtsy."
"Neither, please," I said. "I should leave before he finds me, I should, but,"
"But your wolf,"
"Yeah,"
"You know vampires have mates too," Zero said.
"And?"
"And, I was just letting you know," Zero laughed. I laughed too.
"Demons don't," I said. "What's the point, we just kill and kill."
"You're not like that," Zero said.
"I was, I have to be. I need to be that again, I can't change," I said nervously. "I can't be weak. I can't have a weakness."
"Love is definitely a weakness but when you live forever like our kind, it can be a source of power as endless as time,"
