"I get your point, Ella, I'm just curious to know that's all"

"I know you like him, he's good-looking," she winked at me.

"Gross, stop that!" I snapped

"Come on, at least you've tried to look at him through the window separating your office," she sipped her coffee loudly.

She has to be kidding me, Ella is nice, realistic, and friendly but her point that I admire Arthur is ridiculous.

I can't believe Ella's description of good-looking was Arthur, she has no eyes. But is she right? He might have been some features. Wait, what did I just think of Arthur, no.

I hurried back to my office and I found out that Arthur was already back in his office. A pile of reports was already on my table, 'what the heck is going on?' I was not going to do this today. I marched into his office, his back was rested against the chair.

He looked at me like he was expecting me already.

"What is it Rose?" he asked, his voice sounding husky.

I was trying to soothe myself down because I'm sure I would pounce on him anytime soon.

"I think you've been giving me too much work," I said, scowling at him.

He narrowed his eyes, "I think you came here to see me"

My face flashed red hearing him say that, does he think I like him, I only came here to protest that's all.

"I would rather leave than talk to you," I rolled my eyes. He walked up to me, making me back off a little. His face was right in front of me. "What are you doing?"

A creepy smile was plastered on his face, he lift my chin and I gulped, blinking frequently.

"I don't like girls like you," he raised both his brows and dropped my chin.

I felt relieved seeing him walk back to his seat. What was that about, is flirting with me?

"You mean he tried to kiss you?" Ben asked.

"Yeah, he was flirting with me, luckily I dodged it on time," I chuckled.

"Good to go girl," he complimented me.

I felt my phone buzz inside my bag, I grunted in annoyance sighting who the message was from, Arthur.

'hey, girl, hope you didn't miss me too much, see you tomorrow

This guy knows how to flirt, I showed the message to Ben. He laughed out, making me feel more uncomfortable.

"You should show this guy some love," he said jokingly, making me frown at him.

"I won't, even if I like him, that doesn't _" I turned to Ben and his eyes were glued to mine, I cleared my throat making sure I won't say anything stupid," I meant to say, hmmm_"

"It's fine, I understand, just don't fall in love too quick"

"I didn't say_," I shook my head," never mind just drive," I said, my voice deadly silent.

I tried to remove the fact that I said something wrong throughout my drive with Ben but he kept teasing me from time to time.
