It took me a while to drive home even at top speed. I pulled into the parking lot and then headed inside. “Where the hell have you been?” Liam yelled as I set my things down on the counter. “Well, I met with my mom, fixed my dad and then I rested at her house for a few hours—” “Liar! You were with Cain.” “And then I stopped by Cain’s to kill some time.
