He stopped for a moment to wait for my mother. I saw Ady and his new-found love get out of the car. Ady looks at me and gives me a smile. A crowd had gathered to see the king and his family and I saw journalists taking pictures of everything.
They are fast approaching and I feel sick with anxiety about having Carl here.
Danny held my hand tightly, and I gave it a squeeze to tell me he was there by my side. I saw Carl look at our hands and he looked back at our faces.
They finally approached us and me and Danny bowed with respect to the king although I would rather kick him in the teeth at this point.
