I slowly opened my eyes, looking at my surroundings, it was such a rough night.
Two warriors and Maxine bring me to this place. She gave me a key and told me that I would be fending for myself. She looked so smug thinking that I am a weak princess that needs luxury and to be taken care of. I was also told that I needed to stay away from Danny and the pack house.
The thought of that makes me laugh. I have never had that lifestyle at the castle and I am so glad. Thanks to Katy and her mother, I know how to sew, cook, clean, wash, iron and I even know how to knit. I have read so many books and done online courses in medicine and teaching.
Sitting up, I start feeling stronger mentally. I don’t need anyone to look after me or to watch over me. I can defend myself.
