It was starting to get dark, I felt uneasy knowing we were going to make a move to see the rebels and going by Adrian's words, it will not take long for Carl to know that we are in the kingdom.
Florence came downstairs, her eyes were red and puffy and she looked so fragile.
"Are you okay?"
She looked over at me to answer but looked down.
"Florence, I'm here if you ever need to talk" I said to her sincerely.
She sat next to me and gave me a little smile.
"I'm so sorry for what my mother did to you" she sniffed, wiping her eyes and nose with a tissue.
"Flo, our parents do not define us as a person, we are not them." I said holding her hand.
