The cab alighted in front of my house, my misery abode.
I paid him and got out of the house, then hesitantly walked to the door and rang the doorbell.
I don't want to be here, but I have nowhere else to be; this is my only option.
The door was opened by Jennifer who looked shocked, before her expression turned stern.
"What are you doing here?" She asked.
"Get out of the way." I snapped and pushed her off my way and entered the house.
She was surprised, and I heard her scoff before closing the door behind me and joining me in the living room.
"Have you missed your way? What the hell are you doing in my house after what you made Lorenzo do to us?" She shouted.
