No one's POV

Nathaniel was shocked as hell to see the girl in front him. He felt as if the ground beneath him has shaken and an earthquake has broken loose. His eyes get moist. Tears began welling up in his blue-green eyes. He was speechless.

'Eve???', he managed to utter it hardly as the girl was leaving and joining the party.

'She's not your Eve, Nathaniel!!! She's not!!! Eve's gone!!! She's never coming back, okay! Get a grip of yourself!!!', he thought to himself.

Nathaniel then hit the bar and began drinking a little heavily. When he was about to have his fourth glass of scotch, someone held his hand. It was Amelia, his mother.

'Greet me at least before gulping on those scotch!!!', she cribbed.

'Mom!!! You're looking so beautiful!!!', Nathaniel uttered and hugged her tightly.

Amelia sensed that something is wrong with her son and breaks the hug.

'Nathaniel, are you okay??? Why are your eyes welled up???', she asked in concern.

'I missed you so much!!!', he uttered.

Just then, David joined the mother-son duo and hugged them each in his arms.

'Finally! My family is complete!!!', David announced while crushing both of them in his hug.

'Not yet!', Amelia interfered. Both the father and son looked at her in doubt.

'Hey, we haven't beget a daughter-in-law yet. So it's still incomplete yet right???', Amelia explained to which David nodded in agreement while Nathaniel just smiled sadly.

'I wish I could have brought Eve!!! But fate... cruel fate!!', his tiny heart lamented.

Then, David and Amelia brought Nathaniel along with them to socialize with everyone there. Just then, Mr.Quinn and his wife greeted them. They began to indulge in their catching-up talks when Amelia asked them about their daughter.

'Oh Evangeline, she just returned from Manali a few days ago. Evangeline, dear come here!', Mrs.Quinn called Evangeline there.

'Yes Mumma?', she asked her once reaching next to them.

'Evangeline, meet Mr.David Holland, his wife, Mrs.Amelia Holland and their son', Mr.Quinn introduces her to the Hollands.

'Hello Mr and Mrs Holland!', she greeted them.

'Why don't you both youngsters talk to each other for a while?? Our elderly talks will bore you both!', Amelia suggested.

'Yeah, go talk to him dear!', Mrs.Quinn supports Amelia's suggestion.

'Yeah, sure! Come!!', Nathaniel invites her. She went behind him. They walked as they talk.

'So, you're Evangeline Adelaide Quinn!', he claimed.

'Yes and you're Nathaniel Holland!', she replied smilingly. Her smile brought flashes of Eve in his mind.

'She's not Eve!!!', he told himself.

'Why do you seem to be disturbed Nathaniel???', she asked concernedly.

'I was just thinking. Something..', he stopped.

'Hmm... are you thinking of why our parents got us to talk to each other while they are so many others out here??', she asked.

He just plainly nodded.

'Actually, I heard our parents talking just now, a little while ago, they like us for each other and they went us to get along', Evangeline whispered everything honestly to him.

This brought a flashback of Eve in Nathaniel. He could just plainly smile at her honesty.

'Don't worry, they won't decide it today itself. They would want us to mingle first and then they'll ask our opinion on each other after that they'll slide in the betrothal issue and then if we agree they'll proceed!', she added with a smile.

Nathaniel was quite impressed at her smartness. He couldn't help but to let out a chuckle when she said all of that to him.

'So, what do you do??', he asked her.

They begin talking to each other. Getting to know some details about one another.

Sebastian and Alexandar began teasing Nathaniel about being used by a girl and dumped him without even talking her name. It went on for a couple of days. Even when Nathaniel was disturbed because of this, he wanted to find her badly.

Nathaniel began to go clubbing every time Alexandar and Sebastian go as he was very well confident that one day or another, he'll bump into her. That night, as he scanned through the club once he enters, a girl walked pass him. He was very sure that its the same girl. He held her by her wrist, making her to stop and turn around.

Nathaniel was floating on cloud nine when he saw her face. It was her. A huge smile climbed up on his lips. He pulled her aside immediately, away from the noise and hustle. He made her lean on the wall and stood close infront of her.

'Hi!', he greeted.

'Well, hello Mr.Nathaniel Holland!!', she greeted back.

'Am I at your service Madam???', he asked with a smirk as he neared her face.

'Nah! I don't want your service today!', she rejected him and pushed him a little.

'Fhat the wuck!!! Okay fine, at least tell me your name!!! I'm feeling used ever since you did that the last time we were together!!! I can't even stop thinking about you and how wonderful that night was. I could hardly concentrate on anything else. You were just stuck in my mind. My friends...', his long complain died there as she smashed her lips on his. She sucked his upper lip and he responded by taking her lower lip. His hands quickly grabbed her waist while hers ruffled through his hair. They broke apart to catch their breath.

'You're just too cute! And you're getting into my mind as well!!!', she uttered as she was panting for her breath. Nathaniel smirked at her confession.

'Is your offer still open???', she asked him bluntly. He got a little surprised when he heard that. His eyes widened and he made a nerd face.

'Huh?', he asked unable to believe what just entered his ears.

'That offer of yours being at my service, is it still open???', she asked him while running her fingers seductively through his face. A victorious smile formed on his face. He carried her in his arms and exited the club.

While being in his arms, she began to nibble on his ear lobe and leave war kisses on his neck. She sucked his cells making the blood vessels there to erupt and hence forming a hickey there. He dropped her down nearby the door of the club and kissed her wildly. He made her lips bleed this time around. As soon as he broke the kiss, she whispered to him.

'Looks like someone's being impatient today!', she teased him.

'Don't tempt me further! My place is fine right?', he asked her.

'Yeap! It's fine! Just... one thing... let's see if you could survive the way to your place in the car!!! If you could, I'll let you know my name and leave my number as well, is that a deal???', she asked out in a very sexy voice while biting her lower lips.

Nathaniel gulped his saliva down and agreed to her deal.

'DEAL!'.
