STEFF’S POV
“Can you tell me about her?” Lance replied.
Bakit niya gustong makilala si Mika? Tanong na agad pumasok sa utak ko, sabagay wala naman sigurong mali kung gusto niya kilalanin ang kaibigan ko.
“I met her this school year, she’s actually a probinsya from Batangas. I don’t know if you know her but, she’s really pretty!”
I’m so proud as if Mika is my daughter.
“Really from Batangas? Isn’t that far.”
“Yes.” I replied
“Why did she choose law out of all courses?” he’s asking about Mika again.
“When she was in elementary. She and her mother was part of a very traumatizing accident and it took her mother’s life.” I felt sad as I typed the words, the butterflies on my stomach slowly disappear as I thought of the scenario on my head.
“Accident?!” he was obviously shocked.
