21: Finally controlled

"We want to know everything, starting with how to kill you fokkers" Koos said. "How can you ask me that question? When you know how Naledi's pack was killed?" Matt yelled. "Yes, we killed off her pack, but I want more effective way, blowing them up with artillery is a little costly, and, destructive. I want to know if there is a more, lenient way of putting you fokkers down?" Matt chuckled "Like I'll ever tell you!" He barked, and Koos shot both his kneecaps making him scream. "Koos, this guy's head is slowly growing back" Frits said looking at Lennard. "You're fokkin joking!?" Koos said coming over. To his astonishment he saw slowly but surely the bone, muscle and skin grew back. Koos turned to Matt "Now isn't this interesting?" Sitting down in front of Matt again he cut the leggings of his jumpsuit off with his knife and watched his knees, the bullet holes also slowly closed up, Koos smiled. "Listen to me Frikkie, I'm not stupid hey, I put one plus one together, and judging by the fact that you were going to be taking the Rooivalk to the border, means you're a weak one hey? That b***h Cleopatra won't sacrifice a high ranked werewolf and place it in a very powerful weapon, no, rather take a weak fokker like you, and give you a strong weapon, so the more powerful ranked ones can be in the battle... So now Frikkie... I think you're the bottom feeders of your pack, a beta, or even a lowly omega, right?" Matt's reaction gave Koos an answer, he sort of shriveled in, his face worried. Years of interrogating the enemy taught him to look for reactions instead of answers, and the fact that this Matt showed worry so quickly, meant Koos was right about him being a weak one. "But!" He yelled and Matt jumped "I also realised, not even the highest ranked fokkers are unstoppable, take Naledi, we blew half her body away, but her arm, and skin on her face never grew back, like that buddy of yours' head is growing back now, yet he's a weakling, but Naledi was a pack leader... Now why is that?" "I still won't tell you" Matt smiled. Koos looked down at his legs, the holes are closed now. "I have a theory" Frits said "Mind if I try?" "Sure, but I'm not done with him yet" Koos said. Frits and Koos traded places, now in front of Matt Frits dragged on his cigarette first before addressing him. "So, as every being on earth needs food, to produce energy, my theory is that werewolves need to eat a lot more, or else something might go wrong?" Matt's face sagged again, Frits smiled. "What happens if you don't eat before, during, or after your transformation? Hey boet? Changing your physical size like that must use up a shitload of energy, and, having enough energy, means you can heal as quickly as you did. Now I think that was the problem Naledi had, she was expelling a lot of energy to chase us, I know I shot her a few times, Koos shot her with a cannon, and Piet hit her with the Ratel, all that damage she took, whilst running to keep up with us caused her energy to run low, and she could only heal, not regenerate... Am I right?" Matt started to sweat, he looked at Lennard, who just finished regenerating his head, and moaned getting up. "Lennard! Are you ok!?" Matt yelled. "I feel like a bus hit me" He mumbled and looked up, right into Piet's shotgun barrel "Welcome back Frikkie, and goodnight" Piet said and shot his head off again. "f**k! s**t! s**t! You fuckers! If Cleopatra found out about what you're doing here! She'll kill you!" Matt yelled "Whats wrong boet? You said he can survive a headshot? Right? Which means well shoot him every time he gets up" Frits said. "But! But!" "And! We'll shoot your kneecaps off, every time they heal!" Koos said leaning over Frits and shot him again. *** Naledi had no comeback, she never thought back then the tables would turn on her like this, she held her hand up "I'm sorry kiddo, it was in my nature" Quintin fought hard against the anger, he knew what she said was true, in normal circumstances Naledi would never be in this situation, and she never could kill him after all, thanks to the soldiers, and she even paid the price with her arm, but his anger overwhelmed him. "Is that... Fear?" He fought the words back, it wasn't his. "Quintin! You must calm down!" She desperately said. 'Don't change' Naomi's words reached him again. He took a deep breath, then stood back, he sighed deeply again, blowing out tension. "Naledi" He said "I'm sorry" A smile came onto her face "Thank heavens, I thought I was a goner" "So this is what it feels like to be one of you?" "Not fun hey?" "No" "Well Quintin, you're not one of us yet, you're bigger, your eyes and fangs are different, but you're not fully a were... Cat yet" Quintin walked over to a mirror, she was right, his pupils sleeted, his fangs sharp, he even had claws "I can't go into public like this" "Well can't you focus and draw them back?" "Draw them back?" "Yes, the Del Carchetore clan can semi shift into their wolf forms, giving them greater agility and speed, so they'd look almost just like you now" "I, I don't know how?" "Then only Claire can help you now, but first, I think you should eat something, if you're not hungry, you'll have more common sense" Naledi said walking out "Ezbar! It's safe to come out now!" "Who's Claire?" Quintin asked following her. "She's the Alpha of the Del Carchetore clan" Naledi found a room that looked like a kitchen and entered it "There must be food round here somewhere" Ezbar peeked into the room, making sure it's safe. "Uh, son? Are you ok now?" "Yes doc, I'm handling it" Ezbar came to him and started inspecting, he circled him a few times then stopped in front of him smiling "Outstanding, the only step left now, is to see you under a full moon, but, just in case it goes horribly wrong, I suggest you go to Angola, and be ready for it there" *** It took longer than before for Matt's knees to heal up, and twice that long for Lennard's head to grow on again, but this time Piet didn't shoot him. Lennard was clearly exhausted, he couldn't even get up from the floor. "That's, four minutes, twice as long as before" Frits said. "So tell me boet?" Koos asked, Matt looked back at him, sweating bullets "If we shoot him again? What will happen?" Matt sighed "If I tell you? Will you let us live?" "Sure boet, I know why you wolves keep yourself secret, you think 'Humans don't understand, and will have the mentality of, we can't allow werewolves to live, because they're too dangerous' But not us boet, we met Naledi, she's not too bad, so if you cooperate, well allow you and your buddy to live, but we'll keep you tied up, so you can't warn Cleopatra" "Deal! It's a deal!" Matt gladly called. "Very well" Koos drew another chair close and sat down next to Frits "I'm listening" "The story about silver is partially true, it doesn't burn us, but something about it causes us not to heal from it. But even though silver is a weakness to us, that doesn't necessarily mean we can't be killed by anything else. A shot to the head and the heart is the sure way, without the brain the heart can still pump blood to regenerate, without the heart, the brain can still send signals to regenerate, so take out both, and were dead for sure" Matt spilled everything in almost one breath. "The heart and the head hey?" Koos asked looking at Frits. "Shall we test it?" Frits asked lifting his pistol. "Wait! No!" Matt yelled but Frits shot Lennard in the heart first then the head. "You bastards! We had a deal!" "Yes, the deal was, we let you live because we understand werewolves are not as bad as the books say they are, but unfortunately we can't allow you to live, because of Cleopatra's hideous plan" "No!" Matt yelled before Koos rapidly shot him in the head and heart. "This was fun! Fok am I glad I met you two" Piet said "So what now?" "Now, we take everything to your farm Piet" "Copy that"
