"Miss. Lily." I heard a faint noise from the background but I used a pillow to cover my ears, I was too sleepy and my whole body was screaming in protest whenever I thought of standing up.
"You need to wake up ma'am, it's noon already and you haven't eaten all day!"
"Miss Lily," Agnes' voice came again, a little louder this time, accompanied by a soft knock on the door.
I groaned, clutching the pillow tighter over my head. My entire body ached, and every movement sent sharp reminders of the insane night I’d had with Larry. My thighs burned, and the unmistakable soreness between my legs was a constant reminder of the reckless decisions I had made.
