Megan Mancuso laughed at Rebecca as she walked into the dugout the morning after the party. “You look like a movie star hiding from the paparazzi.”
Rebecca took off the sunglasses she’d been wearing. “Get it right. I look like a star athlete hiding from the paparazzi.”
“Actually, you look hung over.” Megan’s eyes widened. “You didn’t…”
“No! Believe me, I’m not wasting my moms’ money by getting kicked out of softball camp. Not even on the last day.” She couldn’t stop the smile that spread over her face. She lowered her voice so none of the other girls could hear. “But I was up kind of late.”
