I couldn't sleep a wink last night. I lay on the bed, tossing and turning now and then in a vain attempt to invite sleep to come and find me. I gave up when I saw a ray of sunshine peeking through the curtains knowing there was no point in trying anymore. I just have to let my body overwork and eventually shut down on its own for a restart. I pulled myself into a sitting position and glanced at my reflection in the mirror.
