I sighed and looked up just in time to see Mera entering my room, "Were you sleeping? I can come back later if you want -"
"No, that's alright," I said, pulling myself into a sitting position, "Come on, sit here." I patted the spot next to me, waiting for her to come.
Mera seemed hesitant at first but made her way to the bed and eventually sat on the spot I suggested, "You look like you have done some serious thinking" She noted, "Is it because of the Alpha and the way he treated you?" She looked at me in concern, but I couldn't fathom if she was sincere or not.
After all, she looked up at the Alpha more than anyone else here. She treated him like he was a god or something.
