Just remember that it’s always for your own good. I will protect you, Anya, even if it costs my life," Marcus suddenly said, causing me to stop eating. I looked at him, wondering if something had happened. He didn't say anything else. I smiled and replied.
"I'll always remember that, Marcus. I love you too," I said, wrapping my arms around him. Even though I didn’t fully understand everything that was happening, I trusted him completely. My heart was his, and I believed in him with all my being.
