Anya's Point of View:
I introduced Anya to Arkand, and he began chatting away. Lea returned shortly after, eager to join the conversation, but then quickly left upon spotting a flower. It turned out Lea had a deep love for flowers.
"Stay away from her, Arkand!" a threatening voice interrupted. Both Arkand and I turned toward the source of the voice and saw Marcus standing there, his face full of anger. This was trouble.
Marcus’s eyes locked onto Arkand, his voice low with warning. "What are you doing here, Arkand?" He reached out, pulling me up from my seat.
"I was told by Jhoseph to keep an eye on Lea," Arkand replied nonchalantly, with no sign of fear or concern. Didn’t he know Marcus could be terrifying?
