Ignoring her plea, I leaped forward, sinking my fangs into her neck. “Die, hunter,” I murmured before shifting back into my human form. A sharp pain shot through my arm, and I clutched it tightly, feeling the searing burn of silver. Gritting my teeth, I slowly pulled out the knife embedded in my flesh. “Aghhh!” I let out a strangled cry as the blade tore away from my skin.
