“Come with me, Aruna,” Adrian said calmly. “Because according to the world, you are already dead.” The cemetery fell into a deadly silence. Aruna stood frozen between two men who could destroy the world with a single order. Dante moved first. He stepped in front of her, his body instinctively shielding hers. “You’re trespassing,” Dante said coldly. Adrian smiled faintly. “I’m reclaiming what you stole.” The air thickened. Guns were raised. Fingers hovered over triggers. One wrong breath could turn the cemetery into a slaughterhouse. Aruna felt her heart pounding violently. “This is insane,” she said. “Stop.” Neither man listened. Adrian took another step forward. “Did you tell her?” he asked Dante. “About the night her mother disappeared?” Aruna stiffened. “What night?”
