Elle's POV
Lin cried on my shoulder as I kept consoling her. I knew she’d be sad when her grandma would pass away but I never knew she’d be this devastated.
“Hey” I wiped her tears, “You feeling better?” She had been crying for a hour now, it’s already been a week since her grandma passed away and still she’s crying like crazy. Well it’s an obvious reaction since she grew up with her.
I understand her feeling. I was completely lost when mom passed away and it took me quite some time to actually adjust my thoughts and move to away.Wait. What’s this empty feeling? Like I’m missing something? I shouldn't have it, not regarding him.
“Have you calmed down?” I asked Lin as I brought her ice cream and we both sat in the ice cream parlor in front of the window to eat.
“Yea.Thanks.”
