Chapter 28: Taking over

Her skin's slimy texture was so smooth but felt like melting, two dots on the place where the ears were, the wrinkles under her eyes. She touched the place where her eyes were supposed to be, and she could feel her hand being absorbed inside where the eyeball was supposed to be, but when she took it out, it was still there. 

The petal-like lips were nonexistent, rather it was as if a pure sunken skin, and inside were cold zigzag teeth. What made it horrifying was the fact that the mouth was too large, it even occupied the place where her cheeks were.

“This cannot be happening,” She whispered with her voice, making a sound of echo. 

This dream, she wants to wake up.

Asharika faces the beautiful Commander Alexa who only stares at her with emotionless eyes, even though smugness was visible on her lips. “I allowed you to absorb me, this time. Let me handle things” Commander Alexa repeated those harsh words.

What let me handle this? What absorb? All of these were not real! Everything was a lie! All was a lie!

“If you think that these were not true, that everything you saw was lies, then you are wrong. All of those were real, Asharika. Or should I call you by the name you told me... Yiling.” Alexa breaking the thought of hers.

She glared at Alexa, “Shut up! Shut up! Shut up! You liar! This is all a lie! Everything you say, everything I saw! All of it… All of it… They were lies” a tear escaped in her eyes. 

Yes, that was right. All of this was a lie, they are just nightmares. Jenievib was still alive, she was not caught. That humex didn’t do those things. She could still prove their innocence.

Yes, that’s right. She was right. She is right.

She grinned, then chuckled but stopped because the sound she was making was not a normal sound a human was supposed to make.

She tried to bite her lips, but she couldn’t even do that because she has no human lips.

How pathetic was all of this? Did she exist to suffer? 

To think all this time, everything about her identity was a lie. She never would have expected that she was also a humex with that monstrous appearance. That scary-looking monster she saw in the weird-looking water was her. That girl that mad scientist called no.101.

She has no idea what to feel. She didn’t know if she should be happy because at least now, she looks human, or sad because she realizes that she is not human.

She already had the intuition that she was a humex, but sensing things and confirming it was still two different things.

Commander Alexa waits for Asharika to intake everything. If there was one thing she never lacked at this moment, that would be patience. 

When Commander Alexa notices that Asharika was calm. She walks toward her. Allowing Asharika to feel her warmth by touching their bodies.

“I know that everything was hard for you, but I am here. You are not alone. I will make them all pay. Those people that harm us. Those people that ruined us.” Commander Asharika whispered in her ears, with a glint of coldness in her eyes but warmth coming from her lips, touching the pain inside Asharika’s heart. “And no one could harm us. Because I am here now.” She let go and smiles at Asharika. 

At this moment, the tears flow like a river from her eyes. No one knows how much she longs for anyone to say those words. She always felt so lonely, and numb. But at this moment she felt she had a home. She is not alone.

She smiles at Commander Alexa, not seeing the flash of disgust but only the beautiful smile on her lips.

“So let me take over this time, okay?” She sweetly says.

Asharika grins and nods at her head. “Okay, but… I had no idea how to do that.” She says feeling distressed.

Commander Alexa tightened her fist. Annoyance flutters in her eyes, but she still smiles kindly at her. “Then… Try to close your eyes, and make me use your body. okay?”

Asharika nodded her head and did what she was told, but she really couldn’t make it happen. 

When Jenievib took over her body before, she was also the one who got out her body. And Jenievib was a soul. 

Thinking about Jenievib, made her heart tightened. It is all her fault that Jenievib died. She will never forget that. She glanced at Commande Alexa who was still waiting for the result. 

Asharika was silent and exhale. “I’m… I’m sorry.”

Commander Alexa's brow tightened. Seeing this. Asharika felt jittery.

“I don’t know how, as of now but I will try to do something about it.”

Commander Alexa closes her eyes for a few minutes, and the other is silent. Asharika felt bad, she also wanted to make Commander Alexa take over her body, but she has no idea how to.

She was scared that the person who was willing to help her would be mad. About the capabilities? Asharika believes that because Commander Alexa was a commander and military personnel, she was really able to help her. Besides that, Commander Alexa was well known during her prime for winning and capturing a lot of criminal organizations during her time, so she never questions what she could do,

That was also the reason why she was chosen as the military personnel to save those abducted children. If not for the thing that happened to her decades ago, she might still be a general now.

After a few more seconds, Commander Alexa opens her eyes. “It’s okay. I will help you out. Close your eyes.”

Asharika, although perplexed, she did once more what was told to her. 

Asharika felt her body being taken over, but still, she was still able to move her body whenever she wanted. Even Commander Alexa felt the same, but she will deal with this as of now. She will crackdown on how to completely take over Asharika's body after.

When she opened her eyes, both Asharika and Commander Alexa saw what was happening, but unlike the sadness or painful expression on Asharika’s body face, there was a glint of joy and excitement.

[A/N: please be noted it was already Commander Alexa Fida Geronimo who was moving and thinking at this moment and Asharika at this moment was a bystander]

Commander Alexa Fida Geronimo had taken over Asharika’s body. How much she longs to wake up. She also held the same information and everything that Asharika experienced, but unlike Asharika, she found those humex disgusting.

She will never forget how those monsters eat her people. She also plans to help Timeus by killing and destroying those humex. She shares the same belief as Timeus, but unlike him, she plans to use these monsters to kill each other.

And the agency that Asharika had joined will be her stepping stone.

But as of now, She will first escape from this prison. Commander Alexa knew she could not change their thought on her, and she could not do what she planned. After all, Asharika could still control the body she was in anytime she wanted to.

Nevertheless, she was still planning to fulfill what she intended to do and make them all pay, especially that madman. She will make them all pay!
