EXPERIMENT 101

CHAPTER 4: GOTCHA

Asharika comes to her work late, accepting her punishment. And yes, they use punishment rather than subtracting her wages. And her punishment was to clean all the stuff they used. She doesn't like that because it has a very awful smell. Ugh.

This is the reason why she hated traffic.

She is the assistant of a professor in the company, or whoever the owner is. And yes, she doesn't know who the owner is, all she knows, she is an assistant of the professor in the company, name "Darian Company".

She is the one who readies the lab utensil. The professor sometimes makes her get the chemical needed. She is not the only assistant though, there are 3 of them.

Their professor makes a chemical formula for some kind of gadget, for the protection of humankind. The company is known for the gadgets and chemicals they put in it. Sometimes the company helps the military once they get the bid, just like right now.

They got the bid for the sulfuric acid type of humex. The one that was shown today. Their work is to study the green thing on its body, and find out how it is possible that it can reproduce such liquid, and what it is made of, other than the sulfuric acid that has already been seen.

She is not really interested in this work of hers. She is in the company because she needs to have work. It is more on the benefit side.

"Ash." calls out to her, by one of her workmates, Rhea.

Rhea has black curly hair, a cute nose, thin lips, and a flawless face. She has a charming look plus a cute height of 5 feet.

"What?" She asks in an uninterested voice, as they walk toward the hallway, going through the canteen, to buy herself lunch.

"My hubby saves the day," announces Rhea, as her eyes twinkle.

"Who?" Asharika stops and looks at Rhea. She doesn't remember her having a boyfriend, more so, on having a husband.

"Timeus my love," Rhea says in a cheerful tone and then giggles.

Her right brow rises then turns her back at her. "The question is. Does he even know? And why do you even choose a robot guy who only knows how to kill, then those kind-hearted men." Asharika said in bitterness as she entered the canteen and walked toward the line of people.

Rhea rolls her eyes at her. "So bitter. If I know, you also had a crush on him."

"No thank you." She scoffs off. "I just don't get why you like such... such a guy. He was such a cold-hearted man." She says in disgust.

Rhea, as if not noticing the underlying meaning of Asharika's voice, continues daydreaming. "You mean cold on the outside sizzling hot on the inside." Rhea then uses her right hand as a fan, as if she feels like she is really feeling hot. "Oh my. I feel hot just looking at that face and body." She then bites her lower lips as she imagines the look of that guy. "I wonder if he had abs and specs. Well, his face was already perfect. And if we have our own babies. I am sure it will definitely look cute, handsome, and beau..."

Asharika left Rhea who keeps on praising that hateful being. She just can't stand it.

They can call her bitter, but she really hates it when people praise that hateful being. 

After buying her food, she sits beside one of her co-workers, Ricky, whose head is looking down on his food. 

"Free?" Asharika asks Ricky.

Ricky has a big nerdy glass and is always shaking hands. He has a hazelnut color of hair, pale skin, and thin lips.

He looks up at her then bows his head as he nods in shaking, then she sits beside him. Rhea comes after, with a pout on her face, and sits in front of her, then brings down her food on the table.

"You're so mean Ash, leaving me like that. No wonder people were staring at me." Rhea says still with a pout on her face. She then looks at Ricky. "Hey, Rick. Why did you only buy veggies and soup? Here, I bought an extra sandwich and drinks cause I know that you are only gonna buy those things. Anyway, you should also learn to eat some meaty food so that you will have a healthy and strong body."

Ricky just nods his head as he receives the food.

Asharika smiles at the two. Rhea is like a big sister to Ricky, who always takes good care of him. Anyway, she thinks he looks nice. Rhea should just go with him rather than-- she doesn't even want to speak about who he is. 

Oh, talking about going out. She kinda misses her boyfriend. Maybe she should go today and surprise him.

She thought of such as the corner of her lips forming an arc that looks like a smile and eating her food.

They go home much earlier today than the usual day because the professor was called out for a meeting, so he told them to go home early, which is a good thing because she can clean the utensils much earlier. Luckily it is not too gross or else she is really going to puke.

She then buys the ingredients for her baby Cleo's favorite dish, and also his favorite drink, on her way to his home.

She has an extra key, given by Cleo. She never uses it since they dated, because in normal times Cleo goes to her home, sometimes when they date, he brings her to his home to have a movie marathon. She is glad she accepted the key, at least she can surprise her baby.

She then opens the door and enters. She first went to the kitchen and then left all that she had bought on the table there.

"Looks like my baby is asleep." She says smiling. She then sneakily goes to his room and heard a moan inside.

She chuckles. "Baby, watching p**n at this time." She whispers. She wants to surprise him by sneaking at his back, so little by little, she opens the door.

Her eyes shrink on what she sees that is happening on his bed. She feels that cold water was poured out on her, as she sees her boyfriend--- wait, he is an ex now, who was busy with another woman moaning in enjoyment.

Asharika goes toward the bathroom, then gets a pail of cold water and throws it toward the two who are still busy making a miracle.

Both of them shout as the water drenches them causing them to choke. They then glare at the one who was at fault.

Cleo is surprised to see her. Well, he should be. He then takes out his thing with a pop sound out of that--- ugh. His disgusting partner.

She glares at them then left, while Cleo tries to stop her, but she slaps him real hard.

His face turns red. He then looks at her. "Baby, let me explain please," Cleo says in a pleading tone.

"Cleo, you don't need to explain and stop calling me baby. We are through." Then she kicks him on his balls. "Hope you become infertile. Hmph."

She then enters her car and drives home with mixed feelings. 

She feels mad. Really mad. She never thought she was a fool all this time, believing in such a guy.

She then pushes a button on her fly car keys, turning the car into a small capsule-like shape.

She walks toward her door as she hears the sound of arguing inside. Her brow knit and then opens the door to see a floating girl at the front of the sofa arguing with the bald girl sitting on the sofa while eating and hugging an ice cream...
