I would be no match for them without my powers. Alpha Deucalion giving up his life for me would be all in vain. I cannot afford it to be so, I will never allow it, tears flooded my eyes as I remembered his lifeless body on the ground.
The rain didn't come pouring down like it did, for I had no powers.
I slowly stepped backward in fear as I saw their claws emerge from their finger ready to tear me apart.
They were nowhere to run for they have encircled me.
"Don't do this please," I begged.
I cried out as Alaric slashed me across the face with his sharp claw.
I dropped to my knees shifting into my human form instantly by the sharp pain. I was now naked, and I held the right side of my face in pain while it kept bleeding.
