Ellanna started to stir awake, she started to gradually open her eyes and take in her surroundings when she realised she was in a small stone room that resembled a prison cell with a small dusting of light that seeped in from a window outside opposite the large wooden door that had what appeared to be a metal hatch that hadn’t been shut completely. When Ellanna attempted to stand to see if she could investigate more of what her gut instinct told her was going to be hell she found that her movements were restricted due to silver chains that were attached to her wrists and ankles and restraining her to the wall behind her. Ellanna had expected the silver to hurt more than it did as she had been told in school that silver was especially painful for werewolves and due to the slight pinch she was feeling she wondered if the stories has been exaggerated to make the students more cautious with it. Shaking off the thoughts of how little pain she was feeling from the chains Ellanna tried to talk to Ellissia but then she started to feel strange as she couldn’t sense her, Ellanna decided that she couldn’t give into panic and she needed to try and take charge of the situation she was now in but first she needed to try and figure out how she ended up like this after all it wasn’t the first time she had been held captive and she knew that she was strong enough to get through it again. Ellanna started to recall her movements before waking up in the cell. She could remember was going for a run after school, she remembered going to the lake and then heading back to get ready for the party. Ellanna then realised that she must have been blitz attacked whilst she was mid-shift when she had gotten back to the tree, as the last thing she remembered was getting back to the tree to shift and put her clothes back on, looking at what she was wearing she realised that all she had on was a rather large men’s t-shirt that she assumed would reach mid-thigh on her, so her captor must have dressed her in it. Having remembered the events leading up to her captivity she then tried to figure out why her wolf was missing, she thought about her biology lessons where she had learnt about different plants that could be dangerous for werewolves and there are two that stood out which are Aconitum lycotonum, more commonly know as wolfsbane, and Ergot, which is a fungus that grows on Rye. Both can be highly deadly to werewolves if given in a high enough dose as they can kill the wolf, although she hadn’t heard any cases of a wolf being removed and the human staying alive, Ellanna also recalled three plants that could be used as tranquillizers, Eschscholzia californica, commonly known as the California poppy, Valeriana officinalis, normally shortened to Valerian, and Passiflora incarnata, known as passionflower. All of which in very high does could sedate a werewolf. She wondered if one of these of a combination of them could have been used to sedate her in this instance, it had to be that possibly a high dose of a sedative and a low dose of something more deadly could explain how she had been made unconscious and why her wolf is absent, hopefully only temporarily subdued. Now Ellanna tried to think who would do this and why? The only person she could think of was the person who had held her captive for all those years last time, but how would they have known where she was living and it had been three years since she had escaped from that cabin so why now. Unfortunately Ellanna didn’t have a clue who it was as she had never met them the first time around.
Ellanna was brought out of her thoughts by what sounded like another she-wolf screaming and sobbing in the cell next to hers “hey are you ok?” Ellanna asked to try and help to calm the unknown crying she-wolf after a couple more sobs she heard a feint reply “Ells is that you?” Ellanna thought she heard the whisper “is that you Lucie?” “yeah, what are you doing here?” was Lucinda’s response, Ellanna trying to lighten the mood a little said “oh you know, just hanging around” then added in a more serious tone “can you remember what you were doing before you woke up here?” Lucinda thought about it for a few minutes and said “I went to get ready for the party and realised that I’d run out of foundation, I went to go to the store to get some more. I remember parking my car and getting out then the next thing I remember is waking up here chained to the wall. What about you?” Ellanna took a breath and waited a couple of seconds before replying “I went for a run after school and I remember getting back to where I’d shifted and about to shift back then I woke here chained to the wall too. Although I do have one problem at the moment” Lucinda immediately replied “what’s that?” Ellanna sighed and then said “I can’t sense my wolf” Lucinda gasped and said “now you mention it, I can’t feel mine either!” Ellanna started to think in more depth and said “I think we were drugged, we need to be really observant and see if we can figure a way to get out of here.” Lucinda replied in agreement and then sounding as though she was wincing said “I hope we can do it soon as I’m not sure how much longer I can cope with the pain from these chains… they’re burning my wrists and ankles” when Ellanna and Lucinda finished their conversation they heard a small murmur from another cell Ellanna asked “Lucie did you hear that?” Lucinda replied “yes, do you think there’s someone else here?” Ellanna took a moment and said “well there’s only one way to find out.. hey is there anyone there?” this time they were greeted with a few seconds silence before they heard someone whimper, Ellanna then said “It’s ok you can answer in your own time when your ready” Lucinda added “It’s ok you can trust us” then they heard “is that you Ells and Lucie?” slightly shocked Ellanna then asked “Angie is that you?” Lucinda added “oh my god” Angelica responded slightly panicked “yes it’s me, where are we? What happened? Who could have done this? How long have we been here? Oh my god where’s my wolf?” Ellanna then calmly said “Angie try and stay calm, we don’t know where we are, how long we’ve been here or who has us. I think we were drugged and that’s why none of us can sense our wolves. We need to play the waiting game and try and see if we can figure any small details out. Angie what’s the last thing you remember before you woke here?” Angelica was silent whist she thought about it and then said “I went home after school and decided to go for a walk before getting ready for the party… oh my god Anna and Zara are going to kill us for not turning up to the party they put so much effort into it, they’re going to be so pissed off with us when they see us next, what if they never speak to us again?” Angelica started sobbing with the last part, Ellanna then said in an attempt to reassure “I’m sure they’ll understand Angie, what happened when you went for your walk?” Angelica took a couple of deep breaths to calm herself and stop crying while Lucinda said “you’ve got this Angie” then Angelica said “I was walking along the road near the east side woods near the pack house, I must have been walking for about 30 mins and decided to head back I turned and that’s it next I’m here. Do you think anyone has realised that we’re missing yet?” Ellanna didn’t get chance to reply as they heard a heavy door open and then footsteps coming towards the cells they’re in although they seemed to be in the distance.
