Now three years later Ellanna awoke with a silent scream as usual as no sound seemed to come out, this has become the normal routine most mornings now, and for some reason as time had passed her screams had lost their volume. Waking up covered in sweat had also become the normal routine too. It was the same nightmare that plagued Ellanna most nights, that traumatic event that happened 8 years ago. She had no idea how or why she had been kept alive or if anyone else had survived but she had somehow. Ellanna knew that somebody somewhere had answers for her but she didn’t know where to start looking but she had to get them somehow, but for now she would get stronger and live as much of a normal life as possible. She got up and headed for her shower to start her day, at least it was Friday. Ellanna was now living with the Gamma and his family of the Crescent Moon pack. The Alpha and the Gamma had found her when she had escaped the cabin after she had entered their pack borders, she was malnourished and close to death but still coherent. After the Alpha had listened to her story and done some investigating he agreed to letting her stay with them and she was accepted into their pack, although nobody could tell her what happened to her family as nobody seemed to know.
Today is Ellanna’s 17th birthday and she had been told that she would be able to find her mate from now which she has been anxious about. She had been told that a mate is picked by the moon goddess and is meant to complete you, your other half so to speak, mates are destined to be together and there is no love quite like it. It is said that when you find your mate that you feel a strange pull towards them and when your skin touches each others you feel sparks across the area that has been touched. The moon goddess doesn’t often make mistakes but on very rare occasions it can happen, they could be abusive in the most evil of terms or your mate rejects you although if your lucky enough she will bless you with a second chance mate. Rejecting your mate is extremely dangerous as it breaks the mating bond and can kill the other persons wolf. Once you have met and your wolves have recognised each other if you haven’t fully mated within 4 weeks then the she-wolf will go into heat where she will be extremely fertile for about 5 days and the male will go into a rut a couple of days later, which is a testosterone filled period of 3 days where the male will try and hump anything, they can manage these alone but the best way to deal with it is to f**k your mate, once marked you can feel everything that they feel and you can’t live without them or be too far away from them for too long, if you die then so does your mate and vice versa so once you have your mate you should protect them at all costs. Being away from your mate for too long will weaken the mating bond and drive your wolf crazy ending eventually in death. Losing your mate will kill your wolf which in turn kills you as your wolf is a huge part of you. Some people have said that there is no feeling as great as the way you feel with your mate, there are no words to describe it. But in her mind she was broken and not that attractive, What if he didn’t find her attractive and rejected her instead? What if he rejected her because of her past? There were so many what ifs going through her head and the only way she was going to get those answers though is to find him even if she was scared of the outcome.
Ellanna was dreading having to look in the mirror whilst she was getting ready for school after her shower as she thought that having had her persistent nightmare would be apparent in her appearance, but there were no visual signs so it seemed the scorching hot water from the shower had done it’s job well which she was highly grateful for today of all days. Today she seemed to see herself differently, for the first time she actually liked the reflection looking back at her. She is 5’6 with an hourglass figure and vivacious curves in all the right places, she has muscles where needed and a discrete six-pack as she has continued to train and now she’s quite a strong fighter and has decided that she wants to aspire to be a warrior in the pack and never to be seen as weak again. She has long jet black hair that falls down her back to her waist in beautiful natural curls, her pale skin complements her high cheekbones, her full pink lips and her hazel eyes and with little violet flecks in them making them very unique. Ellanna decided to wear black high waist ripped skinny jeans with a white off the shoulder short sleeved crop top with a white lace strapless bra and matching thong. She accompanied her outfit with her black waist length leather jacket along with a pair of flat black leather lace up knee length boots, showing enough skin but not too much making her look classy but casual and showing her vivacious curves just right. She didn’t often wear make-up so she just applied a little clear lip gloss to give an extra shine and make her lips stand out more. She looked at herself one last time before heading down for breakfast feeling pleased with her appearance and the small amount of effort she’d put in.
