Ophelia’s POV Breakfast had been slow and lonely. None of the servants had sat with me nor bothered to keep me company even for a short while. It was not like they kept me company always; today was different because I wished for someone to talk to. They were behaving oddly too; I do not know what Julian had told them. Or maybe it was because I was having my breakfast in the kitchen instead of my room or the dining room. I did not want to go to those places to eat; the dining room was too big for one person and I enjoyed eating in the bedroom only when Julian was there. “Thank you.” I said to the only cook who dared to approach me. “You are welcome. I hope you did not find it too weird; the king gave an order that I was the only one supposed to serve you and him. We are always friendly.”
