Chapter 10

Bhavesh looked at Shilpa's photograph.

His precious tears were falling down as his tears too did not prefer to stay in his eyes seeing him hurt.

The thought of Shilpa going away from him, made his heart bleed and his eyes cry terribly.

Bhavesh said,

“Those days were so beautiful Shilpa”.

But which days?The memories of which days gave him relief?

Those were the days when he and Shilpa were together.

Yes,they were together for a beautiful period of time which has become past now.

Those are the gone days which he craves for.

He wishes to go back to those days again.

Those days are clear in his memories.

Flash back...

The preparations for Raj and Rakhi’s wedding were going on.

The families were planning a grand colourful musical event prior to their wedding.

Shilpa was really excited about it.

“Bhaiyya...(Brother)I am planning a performance specially for you and Rakhi bhabhi(Sister In Law)".

Raj pulled her cheeks with a smile and said,

 “That's so sweet my little princess sister”.

He was already impressed with his little sister’s cute gesture even before the event.

“I am so also planning a surprise for you on this special day”.

That was really surprising for Shilpa.She was planning a special surprise for musical dance event as her brother was getting married.But a surprise from her brother at this point of time was least expected.

She could not control her excitement knowing about the surprise.

Shilpa asked him,

“What is the surprise bhaiyya?”

Raj replied in a cool manner.

“Surprise is not to be broken before.Right?So wait and watch”.

Shilpa smiled with excitement.She was willing to wait as the surprise after a wait is definitely sweeter.

The musical dance event started.

The to be bride groom  and the bride Raj and Rakhi came holding hands together.

They stole the event with their grand entry.

Raj and Rakhi were glowing like diamonds when they started dancing gracefully.

This is a pre-wedding function of the couple Raj and Rakhi.

How can the family members not join them sharing the joy?

Raj’s parents Keshav and Avantika danced along with Rakhi’s parents

Inder and Gayatri.

All of a sudden Shilpa started dancing joyfully.

Suddenly Bhavesh came and started dancing near her.Shilpa was stunned as a stranger was dancing close to her..

Shilpa could not help herself from thinking about this stranger.

“Who is he?”

The people were clapping more for him.

Shilpa was becoming jealous.Afterall a dancer like her who always won the hearts of others at events got faded before a stranger boy who was dancing.

“I can't understand who he is.May be the dancer Raj bhaiyya(Brother) arranged”.

Bhavesh was holding Shilpa's hand and dancing.She was stunned as the stranger showed the guts to dance with her.

Bhavesh hit her shoulder dancing in a funny manner.

Shilpa was irritated.She was losing her patience.

 “What nonsense!”She exclaimed.

While dancing Shilpa asked him,

“Hey dancer boy...I agree that you came here to dance.But why are you dancing when I am dancing?You should have done a solo dance which you rehearsed”.

He had a naughty smile on his face.

“Hey...you think that I am a professional dancer?I am a guest here.I felt like dancing as it's Sangeet( Pre-wedding musical dance function in India) function.So I am dancing.What is your problem?

But Shilpa was not shocked as she was not ready to believe that he was a guest.Because he looked unfamiliar.

“What?You are not a dancer?And you are saying that you are invited for this function?No way.I won't believe it”

But Bhavesh did not care about her attitude.Whether she believes him or not did not bother him.

He responded.

“Ok..don't believe it.But I am invited to this function”.

Now Shilpa too started feeling that he was invited as a guest.

Shilpa thought,

“Who invited him here?Is he from Rakhi bhabhi's(Sister in law) family?”

Bhavesh was dancing with full energy.Shilpa was dancing.But her full focus was on Bhavesh.She was thinking who he was.

Bhavesh moved closer to her and said in a husky voice.

“By the way you are dancing quite well”.

Shilpa smiled.

He continued talking with a mischievous smile.

“But concentrate more on the dance than thinking over my identity”.

Shilpa felt embarrassed as he could read her mind correctly.He realized that she was thinking of his identity.

But she tried to hide her embarrassment.

“What?”

He giggled.

Shilpa gritted her teeth in anger.

This gesture of hers was also bringing a smile on Bhavesh’s face.

He said,

“Cute”.

Shilpa did not reply because of irritation.

He said cutely,

“Let's dance together”.

He pulled her hand.

Shilpa frowned as the stranger dared to hold her hand.

“Leave my hand”.

He asked her politely,

“Why can't you dance with me?”

She replied with attitude,

“I will dance only with my friends”.

Immediately without taking any second he said,

“Then make me your friend”.

Shilpa considered this only as a part of flirting.After all no one will  ask a stranger for herfriendship so fast if it is not flirting.Seeing his long hair,she did not simply give him reply regarding his flirty behavior,but also taunted him about his long hair.

“Hey..long haired man...who will make you their friend?Get lost”.

Shilpa left his hand and tried to move away.But her chain got stuck up in his hair.

She got irritated.

“Why can't you cut your hair?Because of your messy hair my chain...”

He replied in a positive tone.

“Hey..nothing happened to your chain.It just got stuck up”.

Bhavesh removed her chain from his hair.

He asked her,

“Are you ok now?”

She said softly,

“Ok.Thank you”.

He smiled as she thanked him.

“Finally you thanked me”.

But Shilpa did not want him to feel that she surrendered to him,ready to accept his friend’s request.

“But don't think I made friends with you hairy stranger”.

Still Bhavesh was not willing to just leave her.

He said,

“But atleast continue dancing with me as it's a party”.

Surprisingly she gave him a positive nod”.

“Ok.But only for my bhaiyya and bhabhi's(Brother and sister in law) musical dance party”.

Bhavesh smiled with happiness.

She started dancing with him.

Bhavesh looked at her face deeply.

She looked at his eyes.

His eye balls struck her heart.She felt connected to his eyes.

She thought,

“Why do I find his eyes familiar?”

After the dance, everyone clapped their hands.

Raj came and hugged both of them.

“Fantastic”.

Shilpa was surprised to see Raj hugging Bhavesh.

She asked him in disbelief,

“Bhaiyya(Brother)..you know him?”

Raj replied with a smile,

“Of course yes.I only invited him”.

Shilpa was stunned as she never expected her own brother Raj to be the person who invited Bhavesh to the function.

“You invited him?Why?I mean...”

Raj replied with a smile.

“For you my little sister”.

Shilpa got confused.

“For me?”

Raj said,

“Yes.Remember ..I told you about a  surprise for you.This is my surprise for you”.

Still Shilpa was not able to understand anything.

“Surprise?How?How is it a surprise?”

Bhavesh and Raj giggled.

Bhavesh asked her with a smirk.

“You did'nt recognise me Sun glasses girl?”

Bhavesh called her ‘Sun glasses girl’ as Shilpa had the habit of wearing sun glasses and show attitude in her own style.

Shilpa was surprised.Now she could identify him as Bhavesh was the only person who addressed her as ‘Sun glasses girl’ in childhood.

“Bhavesh?”

He smiled,

“Yes..Bhavesh”.

Shilpa was very happy to find her dearest friend Bhavesh after a long time .She was so surprised and emotional that she embraced him.He embraced her back.

Raj, Rakhi ,Kaal and Avantika smiled.

Shilpa said to Bhavesh.

“I could not recognize you.You look so different with your long hair.But your eyes gave me a strange feeling.May be because I could not forget your eyes or your eyes are still the same”.

Bhavesh smiled.

Raj asked him,

“How is my surprise?You always wanted to meet Bhavesh.Right?You were craving to see him.So I traced him and found him”.

Shilpa was so happy that she thanked Raj.

“Thank you so much.This was the best surprise from you”.

Rj smiled.

Raj went back to Rakhi.

Bhavesh looked at her sweetly.

“You were craving to see me?”

She blushed.

“Yes.I missed your friendship”.

He smiled as he was happy to know that Shilpa missed him a lot.

“I also missed you Shilpa”.

She was surprised.

“Really?”

He nodded with a sweet smile.

They shared a sweet eye lock.

Shilpa said,

“Then be with me always as a friend like before”.

He held her hand and said,

“I promise that now onwards I will be always with you as your best friend”.

She smiled and said,

“Then we will relive our childhood days”.

Bhavesh said,

“Of course..we will have ice cream together..we will play on beach..make castles...”

Shilpa continued.

“We will compose songs together”.

Bhavesh said,

“Yes”.

They smiled.

Like this, they joined together and started a beautiful journey of life again.
