Bhavesh and Shilpa met at the location they fixed.Both were holding an umbrella.
Shilpa knew that Bhavesh called her to see his best friend.But still Shilpa asked for a formality,
“Bhavesh...why did you call me?”
Bhavesh said softly,
“Because I want to show you something”.
Shilpa was curious to see what Bhavesh brought.
“Show me”.
Suddenly because of heavy wind their umbrellas flew away.
“Oh no...”
They both were frustrated with the silly fact that they lost their umbrellas and they will get drenched.
But they felt nice when the cool rain drops fell over them.
Shilpa smiled in a cute manner.
“Why don't we enjoy the rain?”
Bhavesh agreed with her completely.
“Yes Shilpa...I love rain”.
Suddenly an idea popped in Shilpa’s mind and she shared it with excitement.
“Let's dance”.
Bhavesh was surprised as Shilpa expressed her wish to dance with him.He was more than happy to dance with her.
He smiled with the same excitement.
“Yes sure”.
Bhavesh and Shilpa started dancing in the rain forgetting themselves.
Suddenly Shilpa realized that it was only her imagination.
She became upset with the colourless reality.
She was finding it hard to accept that Bhavesh loves someone else without knowing that Bhavesh has feelings for her.
“How could I forget that Bhavesh belongs to Gautami though she is not alive?I have no right on Bhavesh.I am not lucky enough to be Bhavesh's love”.
While thinking like this,her heart pained.
Bhavesh was lost in Shilpa's beauty when wetness embraced her.
He walked towards her.
They both looked at each other.
He caressed her face.She was lost in his touch.
They forgot themselves and embraced each other passionately.
They were lost in each other.
Suddenly Shilpa came back to senses and broke the passionate hug.
Bhavesh's lips trembled due to anxiety.
“Shilpa...”
Shilpa started weeping.
“You thought I am Gautami and took me into your arms?”
“Shilpa..I.”
Before Bhavesh could complete his sentence, she interrupted him.
“But I am not your Gautami.I am Shilpa”.
Shilpa was even more broken as she felt that Bhavesh embraced her only because for a moment his eyes betrayed him and as a result he imagined Gautami in front of him.
She sobbed.
Her tears hurt him.He lost his control and embraced her to console her.They both were in tears.
He cupped her face wiping her tears.
“Shilpa...”
He called her in intense voice.
Shilpa moved away from Bhavesh.
Shilpa was feeling guilty to share a passionate hug with Bhavesh whom she considered as Gautami’s treasure.
“I am sorry Bhavesh.For a moment I forgot that I am not your beloved”.
He felt upset as he could feel what she was going through.
“Don't be guilty Shilpa.Please...I am sorry.I am at fault.For a moment I too forgot myself.Never thought of your feelings…never thought what would you feel”.
“Though the hug remained only for a moment, it was a mistake”,
Shilpa said.
Bhavesh got hurt by her words as it was not a mistake for him.
“No Shilpa.It was not a mistake.If you think that it was a mistake then I loved that mistake and I will make that mistake correct”.
He said so in his mind,but Shilpa could not hear his mind voice.
Shilpa ran away crying.
“Shilpa!”
Though Bhavesh called her,Shilpa did not listen to him.His tears rolled down his cheeks.
Bhavesh and Shilpa spent time crying thinking of each other.
Bhavesh tried to ring her up.But Shilpa ignored his calls tearfully.
Bhavesh got frustrated as he could not bear this ignorance from Shilpa.
Shilpa could not concentrate on her work.She took leave and got out of her office.She was shocked to see Bhavesh there.
“Bhavesh!”
They shared an emotional eye lock.
She tried to walk away tearfully.But he stopped her from leaving.
“Shilpa...please listen to me”.
Shilpa kept walking and Bhavesh followed her.
Bhavesh was absolutely pleading her.
“Shilpa..don't avoid me.I am your best friend.Right?”
Shilpa was touched by his pleading eyes.But she was helpless.She was feeling sad to hurt him by ignoring him.
“I am sorry Bhavesh.But after that rain moment ,I cannot control myself.My emotions may burst out.I may forget that I am just your friend and I can't replace Gautami in your life”.
Bhavesh was covered by lots of confusions as the inner meaning of her sentence did not reach his mind.
Bhavesh stared at her eyes.
“What do you mean Shilpa?What did you say?”
Shilpa realized what she was talking.
“About what were you saying Shilpa?Why can't you control your emotions when you see me?Tell me Shilpa”
Bhavesh was going restless without understanding what she said.
Shilpa could not suppress her emotions anymore.
She burst out her hidden emotions.
“I love you Bhavesh.I always loved you.Since childhood you have been special for me”.
Bhavesh was stunned by her confession.
Shilpa continued,
“But after the rain moment I realized that I cannot pretend to be just a friend anymore”.
Shilpa was crying.
Bhavesh looked at her emotionally.
He cupped her face in his hands and looked at her eyes.
“I too love you Shilpa”.
Shilpa was shocked.She could not even imagine hearing something like this from Bhavesh.She could not trust her ears.
“What?”
Bhavesh confessed,
“Yes.I love you and I cannot live without you.When you ignored me, I thought I lost my life which I had lost once”.
His words were like a rain in her dry mind which was almost like a desert.His words brought unlimited happiness to her.But Gautami’s thoughts struck her.
She could not stop herself from asking him about Gautami’s place in his life now.
“But Gautami..?”
Bhavesh said,
“You only told me not to cry over my past life and live the present life happily.I realized that you are my present and I need you always”.
Shilpa became emotional.This is what she longed to hear from Bhavesh and finally her wish got fulfilled.
Bhavesh said,
“That day I called you to show you the song I wrote about you”.
Shilpa was surprised.
“You started writing songs again?”
He replied looking at her deeply,
“Yes..because of you”.
Shilpa became emotional.
She asked him,
“And the song was about me?”
He said intensely.
“Yes.Each and every word was written for you”.
He took out the paper where he wrote the song and gave it to her.She read it and out of happiness she embraced him.They both were very happy.
Shilpa cupped his face in her palms.
“Love you Bhavesh...”
He smiled,
“Love you too Shilpa...”
Bhavesh and Shilpa joined together and organized a party.Aryan, Gopika,Keshav, Avantika,Raj,Rakhi,Sankalp and Sonia were present there.
Bhavesh announced,
“We both arranged this party specially for our closed ones to inform you all a happy news”.
Shilpa blushed while saying,
“My love is getting fulfilled”.
Bhavesh held her closer confessing their love to the world.
“I love Shilpa”.
“We love each other”,
Shilpa said with a blush.
All were surprised and excited.
They all hugged them emotionally and happily.
Keshav said to Avantika happily,
“I told you Avantika...our daughter's love will win”.
Avantika did not forget to thank God for gifting her daughter the man she loved.
“Thank God”.
As the music played,all the couples danced.
Shilpa was clearing a cupboard.Suddenly one album fell down.
It was Raj and Rakhi's wedding album.
Shilpa was excited to find this album.
“This is Bhaiyya(Brother)and bhabhi's (Sister in law)’s wedding album.Let me see the photographs”.
Rakhi who came that side saw it and got tensed.
Raj came there.
Raj asked,
“What are you looking Rakhi?”
Rakhi said,
“Raj...see...Shilpa is opening our wedding album”.
Raj was shocked.He was a bit nervous too.
Raj said in a stern voice,
“We have to stop her.She should not see our wedding album”.
