Carlos arrived with Sophia in tow, and her sister looked a bit flustered.
“Hi!” Sophia greeted her with a shy smile.
“Hey, Sophia. Are you hungry?” Gabbie asked, her tone warm.
“No, I ate before I left, thank you,” Sophia replied, shaking her head.
“Make yourself comfortable. We’ll be heading out soon,” Gabbie said.
“I'm going to sit down and read for a bit,” Sophia responded, heading to a cozy spot with her book.
“I'm going to take a shower and get ready. I'll be down soon,” Gabbie said, already heading towards the stairs.
