Today was a big day… Gabrielle’s first prenatal appointment.
The atmosphere at home had been thick with tension lately. She overheard Leo talking on the phone with his dad. It sounded like Jianna had been discharged from the hospital. Gabrielle didn't ask, and Leo didn't tell her either.
She finished getting ready and headed downstairs for breakfast. The kitchen was already bustling with activity and everyone was already at the table.
