GABRIELLE POV Gabrielle had been confined to bed for fifteen days now. Leo’s visits were rare, leaving Letizia as her primary caretaker during the day. Maurizio and Leo had insisted she rest, but Gabrielle's days were filled with a mix of boredom and frustration. Today, however, a deep homesickness gnawed at her. As she lay there, Letizia entered, her presence usually a source of tension. “I’m about to finalize the guest list for Leo’s family. Are you planning on inviting anyone?” Letizia asked, her tone casual but with a hint of expectancy. “I don’t think so. You can close the list and send it to the buffet,” Gabrielle replied, her voice distant, her mind elsewhere. “You still have a couple of days to submit, in case you change your mind,” Letizia mentioned before leaving the room,
