2 weeks later…
After two weeks, Gabrielle was avoiding him, and to keep up appearances, Leo slept on the couch in their room, but she barely spoke to him.
Today was the day her family was leaving.
“Do you want me to come with you and take them to the airport?” Leo asked Gabbie.
“I don't see the need,” Gabbie replied, brushing her hair.
“You know,” Leo replied.
“Today you can move back to a guest room. At least then you won't sleep wrong,” Gabbie said dismissively, leaving the room.
He went downstairs, and everyone was in the living room with their bags.
“Leo, my dear. Thank you so much for everything,” Madison thanked him warmly.
