Carlos headed to the car agency and rented a sleek vehicle. Leo had made it clear they weren’t planning on flying out, so they hit the road with Leo programming the GPS for their destination in Loveland.
Pulling up in front of the massive house. It was huge.
“Why such a huge house?” Gabbie couldn’t help but ask.
“I'm not keen on hotels,” Leo replied casually.
“Alright then. I'm going upstairs to take a shower,” Gabbie said, heading inside.
“Are you going to let your family know?” Leo called after her.
“I already told you, I'll do it later,” Gabbie replied.
“I’ve got some calls to make first. I’ll meet you upstairs,” Leo said before retreating to handle his business.
“Alright,” Gabbie said and went up to the room.
