CHAPTER TWO
Leonardo POV
I walked downstairs excited to see Aurorin, "Son, where are you in a rush to?" Dad asked. "Nanna's grave" I said coldly "Won't you have lunch?" Mum asked with a concerned look " No" I said.
"But you didn't have breakfast and son do you think wherever your nanna is she's happy to see you acting this way" Mum said and I abruptly stopped.
"Do it for your nanna" Mum said and I went to the dinning room. I sat down, ate and left.
Vincenzo POV
"My baby!" Anna said sobbing, "Don't cry dear Leonardo is strong he'll overcome it and I've sent Luca with" I said assuring her "its a phase he'll overcome it" I said soothing her.
Leonardo POV
I sat there waiting for her, a lot of time passed 'What was I thinking? that she'll show up to see a stranger she just met' I sighed and stood up to leave.
"Wait!!" She said running towards me, she stopped in front of me sweating and breathing heavily.
"I'm.. sorry.. I'm.. late.." she said breathing heavily, " I baked cookies they're for you" she said giving me a box, I looked at her in disbelief.
"Come sit have it" she said smiling sweetly, she pulled me to a bench and we ate the cookies it was delicious, I stared at her stunned. "is it good? is it bad? is there no sugar? is it burnt? why aren't you answering? is it that bad?" she said tearing up. I hugged her and shook my head, gesturing it's delicious.
She breathed out of relief "I thought my friendship offering was terrible" she said and scratched her head nervous. "So since its good..., will you be my friend?" she asked and I nodded.
She smiled brightly, she took a rose and cookie and dropped on nanna's grave. Then she held my hand "Come let's go to my nanna's grave" she said and took me to a tombstone.
She knelt down beside the grave and smiled sadly "Oh nanna, I miss you a lot but J and J are keeping me company, I brought something for you" she said and sobbed. I knelt beside her and hugged her soothing her back, after she calmed down. She asked questions I answered and she also told me a little about her, when the sun was about to set we sat on a hill watching the sunset "I think we should go home" she said and I nodded.
"Bye Enigma" she said and I stared at her stunned, she giggled and skipped away, "Bye" I said but she was gone
'Enigma? she called me Enigma'
I walked to the car and Luca drove home, as he parked the car I went inside and met my parents in the living room "Good evening Dad, Mum" I greeted and walked upstairs leaving them stunned.
Vincenzo POV
"He greeted" Anna squealed I chuckled "I told you it's just a phase" I said. "I guess you're right, I'm so happy he's finally leaving behind bad memories" she said.
Later in the Night
Leonardo came downstairs for dinner without anyone forcing him and he a reasonable amount of food.
"That's fast to overcome such a phase" I said cuddling Anna. "Well I'm just happy he's overcoming it quickly" Anna said
"Yes me too" I said and kissed her forehead.
Leonardo POV
'Enigma? what does that mean?' let me check the internet. Enigma means 'Intriguing and Mysterious' I chuckled at her mindset, she finds me intriguing.
Aurorin POV
I got home and they were scolding and lecturing me about me going out and coming late but as always 'I don't give a damn'. I laid on my bed exhausted, I slept off immediately my body touched the soft material.
Later in the Night
I went down for dinner "Good Evening" I greeted and sat down, we ate our food silently and each retired to their various rooms. I kept thinking about Enigma we'll see tomorrow
