Edward and Seraphina hurried over to where Lydia was sitting. Celeste followed behind at a much slower pace. Her mind kept replaying the scene from the banquet.
She had watched Damien rush to Evelyn without a second thought. She had seen the panic on his face as he carried Evelyn out in front of everyone.
