Edward stared at his daughter with anger burning in his eyes for causing him this much trouble.
“Mr. Blackwood, I would like to apologize on behalf of my daughter for causing you trouble.”
Damien relaxed in his chair as he looked at the people in his office.
“And what trouble did she cause me, Mr. Ashford?” Damien asked.
Celeste raised her head to look at him, confusion flashing across her face. She wondered why Damien was going around in circles. It was as though he knew the answers and was waiting for them to say it themselves.
Edward looked over at his wife, confusion written all over his face. He had rushed over from his office to try and resolve the trouble Celeste had caused him, but now Damien was acting completely unbothered.
