The next day...
Hena grumbled and turn around to see a beautiful face lying beside her.
"Cute," she muttered and torched his pretty face.
"It's a pity you are not good at satisfying your girlfriend," she whispered and sat up.
She looked at him once more before standing up. She walked up to the closet and brought out a comfy outfit.
She wore it without hesitation and then stepped out of the bedroom. She looked around watching around for that little thing Jeremy called his sister.
"Is she gone?"
She looked around and saw no one.
She made a sigh of relief and walked up to the bar. She grabbed an alcohol and grabbed a cigarette.
"It's too early for drinking and smoking," she heard Silvia's voice and sighed softly.
Why is she here again?
"I thought..."
"I already left?" She cut her off with a question.
"Well, I borrowed one of the rooms,"
"Can't you leave already?" Hena asked almost instantly.
"I am sure you know who I am." She replied.
Hena turned around to grab the alcohol.
"I still don't know what my brother sees in you,"
"What?!"
"Yeah, like seriously. I still don't understand why my brother likes you. You drink a lot and you also smokes like a trained Mafia. And my innocent brother still loves you,"
"That's because our love exist forever and forever it will remain an unshakeable pillar that can never break..."
"I am not sure you love my brother," .
Hena looked at Silvia and scoffed.
"You don't love him right? All you cared was his money right?'
"Silvia, shut up"
"You know I won't."
"What are you gonna do about it? Tell him that I don't love him or tell him that all I wanted was money, money, money? Is that it?"
"Ah...ah...ah.." she laugh and lit up the cigarette.
"You know that won't work. Jeremy is addicted to me,"
"I know it won't."
"Then what's the main point of..."
"Hena?"
Jeremy called and Hena looked up the stairs to see a masculine figure walking down the stairs.
"Jeremy?" She called in curiosity.
"Good morning baby," he greeted with a smile plastered on his face.
Hena grabbed the alcohol and walked up to him.
"Haven't I told you to stop drinking this early in the morning?"
"I am sorry Dad," she teased and Jeremy laughed.
"I wish I was your Dad," he teased and kissed her cheek.
"Jeremy, I have been here for since yesterday. I really wanna go home,"
"Yeah. That reminds me. I have to call Mr Browns to come over to pick you up,"
"No..I want to go with you."
"That's impossible Silvia. As you can see I am spending time with my girlfriend,"
"Big brother, are you ditching your little sister?!!!"
"No I am not. I..I....I..."
"Cool, trying to look for an excuse?"
Jeremy looked at Hena. She nodded her head in disagreement and then tucked her hands under his.
"Don't leave me Jeremy,"
"Silvia??"
"I don't wanna listen. I am leaving,"
She walked out and Jeremy sighed softly.
"Silvia?" He called and she turned around.
"And by the way, I will order a taxi. You shouldn't worry about me," she said before walking out.
Jeremy looked at Hena
"Don't worry. She will manage. She's fourteen." she muttered and kissed his lips.
****
"Ta-da!!!" Mariah opened the door widely and Sonia gasped in excitement.
"Here is our new home."
"Woww..."
"What do you like best in here?"
"The beautiful estate and this beautifully magnificent house. And the inner view? You don't know how exited I am Mariah," she replied happily.
"So exited that you wanna hug me,"
"Yes!!!"
The two sisters hugged themselves happily.
"Common Sonia. Let's go tour the house,"
"Yeah....'
The two sisters ran outside, playing like kids.
****
Jeremy and Hena held hands while walking down the lane.
The two heard screaming and laughing which was probably against the estate's rules.
"What's with the screaming?" Hena muttered and Jeremy looked at the house.
*Bagali...go meet Nura* his subconscious mind told him and he batted his lashes twice.
"Babe common, let's leave," hena said. He just stared at the house.
Hena taped him twice before he got to his senses.
"Uh?"
"Let's leave already. Stop staring,"
"Oh!"
The two walked away avoiding the screams of the new neighbours.
Jeremy phone rings and he checked the caller's ID. Oh no! Nancy!!
"Who is that?"
"Nancy," he replied and she stopped moving. Nancy?!! Why is Nancy calling her boyfriend. What is wrong with that lady?!!!
"Don't pick her call," she muttered and Jeremy looked back. Then he realized his girlfriend took an halt.
"Why?"
"Why? Why? Cause I don't like that girl."
"Hena, are you jealous?"
"No I am not. I am not jealous. I just don't like that b*tch a bit. I hate her cause she's disgusting,"
"Sigh...."
"Why is she calling you?"
" For Tomorrow's masquerade ball..."
"And what did you say to her? Yes?!"
"Yeah. I did"
"Jeremy!!!"
"What should I have done? Tell her no?"
"Yes. That's what you should have said. You have a girlfriend. Why can't you refuse at the first place?"
"Hena, you know I can't say no to her,"
"You know what, fine! Fine! Go with her to your most pleasant masquerade ball while I roll on the bed with my blanket,"
"Hena..."
"Go away Jeremy!! Go away!!!" She screamed and ran away.
Jeremy ran his fingers into his hair and sighed softly.
Well.. that's his girlfriend. Always jealous and always getting angry.
It takes time for her to just cool down and cope with him.
And for Jeremy, he knew his kindness was taking over him but he can't resist being bad to another person.
Jeremy sighed softly and ran to meet her.
