Jeremy walked downstairs with his hands tucked in his side pockets.
He saw his parents in the living room waiting for him.
His parents stood up and looked at him. He looked around in confusion.
"Did someone die?"
"No. No one died. Jeremy, no one died."
"So... what's happening. Why are you all looking at me like ghosts?"
"Jeremy, why did you hurt Hena?"
"Uh?"
"I don't repeat myself Jeremy?" His mother said and he smiled.
"Mom, this is a matter between my girlfriend and me. It's just a bit of misunderstanding,"
"Misunderstanding?"
"Yes mom and besides, you know how Hena could be sometimes."
"Okay then. We leave you two to both of yourselves but remember, you are a man and you are gonna marry her sooner or later."
"I know mom,"
He felt a huge grip on his neck. An arm wrapped around his neck.
"What the..."
"Hey pretty looking brother,"
"Silvia?"
"Big brother, are you going out?"
"Yes I am."
"Really? Are you going with your friends or big sister Hena?"
"To Hena's,"
"Can I come with?"
"No,"
"Big brother...."
"No,"
"Pretty pretty please,"
"No,"
"Pretty, pweetie, please,"
"Okay fine,"
"Yayyyyyyyyy!!!"
"Can you let go of me now?"
"Sure thing," she jumped down and her parents laughed.
"Common, we are going to be late," she grabbed his hand and ran outside.

"Hena, I am sorry," Jeremy apologized
"Leave me alone Jeremy. I am so annoyed to talk right now,"
"Hena common."
She turned around and smiled within.
She is so happy and excited. Jeremy was apologizing to her and making sure he regretted what he did to her.
"Common bae," he made her turn around and she pout her lips. "I will never do it again. That night, I was a bit tired and kinda out of control. I am sorry,"
He kissed her and she smiled.
"Kissing me doesn't meant I will still forgive you. I am upset with you,"
"What can I do to make it up with you?"
"Umm.... what about shopping? That would work,"
"Shopping?"
"Yeah and there's one particular dress I want to buy. But it's kinda expensive...so.."
"Say no more. Let's go to the mall,"
He wanted to hug her but she quickly declined.
"I am still upset with you, so no hugging,"
"Sigh... okay baby."
"After getting me that dress, then you can hug me. Right now, I am still upset with you,"
"Yeah, right," Silvia snorted and dropped the video game she was busy with.
"Silvia. This is the matter for adults. Just sit and play your video game...."
"While you two go shopping and enjoy the fun alone? Yeah, not gonna happen,"
She stood up on her feet and grabbed Jeremy's neck by jumping higher than her level."
"Are you in for karate classes this days cause you are just getting stronger day by day,"
"Nope. I have been training for quite some time. You know, that's one of the disadvantages of movies. You copy the actors moves,"
"Are you going to take me to the mall or babysit your little sister?" Hena asked with her arms folded.
"Hey big sister Hena. He is my brother. I will cling on his neck till he takes me to the mall,"
"Jeremy!!" Hena called getting so paranoid. Jeremy pulled Silvia down.
"Silvia, Silvia!" Jeremy called and squatted before his little sister.
"Why don't you choose between going to the mall now or going to Barbie fun palace after I am back from the mall?"
"Umm... okay, deal. Barbie fun palace,"
"Good girl. What about you sit down, play the video game and let me do my thing with my girlfriend?"
"Okay. But be quick. I don't trust you with her. She might take you away,"
"What?!" Hena scoffed.
"Yeah, that's what I usually say whenever you take my brother away 'what' "
"You have an annoying sister,"
"Yeah, thanks for the compliment," Silvia scoffed and sat down on the couch.
"Don't mess up my living room,"
She threw the cushion to the boom box making it shatter into pieces.
"We will see about that. If you aren't back here in the next two hours, this living room is gonna end up crumbling. And trust me when I say it, I am so sincere with my words,"
"Common," Jeremy held Hena's hand and walked out.

Walking down the narrow lane, Sonia and Mariah walked and approached the city.
"We are here," Mariah muttered..
"Um. It's still a little far away though. You must be tired,"
"Yeah, let's sit over there," Mariah said pointing to a rock beside a condemned bus.
The two sat down comfortably.
An old woman passed by them and looked at the two of them.
"Umm... sorry ma'am. But we don't..." Mariah was cut off by the smiles of the old woman.
"Go to bagali Nura, if you want your life to be a smooth journey, go get bagali and go to hepta,"
"Umm... sorry, what?!"
"Go get bagali and go to hepta for a smooth journey, then create a new chronicle,"
"Let's get outta here. This woman is crazy," she grabbed her sister's hand and walked away.
"If you wanna see me young Nura..." Sonia stopped and looked at her "walk to Merryweather and into the seven iles...my hut rest there," she completed her statement before walking away
"What's with that woman?" Mariah muttered
"Let's get outta here...
