As I walked past the field, a few inmates started to notice me; of course, I was bound to draw attention.
I was disheveled, bruised, and, more importantly, I was staggering like a zombie.
If that wasn't enough to draw attention, then I don't know what will, although it was completely out of my control, my body wasn't moving as I wished it, or rather, I was moving as it wished.
As I kept staggering, a few inmates walked up to me, their faces were full of mischief and impure intentions.
'Ah, how refreshing, ' I thought.
This is good, actually; my body was itching to spill blood, but surprisingly, it remained still.
Of course it did, in my current state, if there's one thing my body agreed on at the moment, it was killing the perpetrators as painfully as possible.
So I remained still.
Acting out openly wasn't going to do me any good now, was it?
I just needed to get the perpetrators and kill them, or so I thought, until a notification screen popped up midway.

'What's this? Am I hallucinating, or am I truly dead? Is this like... a status screen obscuring my sight?' I pondered inwardly.
However, I was surprised by my lack of reaction.
That much told me that I really did die and was resurrected after the pact with whatever entity I made it with.
It clearly said my revival would come at the cost of my own humanity, and I would be unable to feel emotions.
So I wasn't surprised or astonished in any way at the appearance of the status screen.
I felt... Empty.
Like an empty vessel.
I couldn't tell if I was to be scared or not, oh.. reality check, I can't be scared.
'Guess I'm really not human anymore'
I reached out to touch the status screen, which was flowing just a few inches from my face, but before I could touch it, I felt something hard striking my face.
What followed next was a cacophony of sounds emanating from one of the inmates' lips; his face was red with fury as he continued.
"How dare you ignore me, you piece of shi? Do I look like a joke to you, huh? Oh, you've suddenly grown some balls, is that it? Is that why you think you just pass my words for naught?"
'With that thing on your head? Anyone would see you as a joke.' was what I would've said.
But I couldn't afford to screw up, especially not after the quest I was given.
'Guess I'll have to play the pathetic loser again.'
I sighed inwardly, then proceeded to bring out my most apologetic face.
He stared at me, as if he was going to come at me at a moment's notice.
But before he could move an inch, I started tracing the sand using my index finger.
I drew on the sand, slowly connecting the trails to form words.
* I'm sorry, I'm currently unable to speak. * They read.
The inmate looked at me with disdain, but by then I already had the expression of a frightened cur.
As if finding the sight, pitiful or unworthy of his attention, he turned around to leave, and while he did, I accepted the quest.
As soon as I did that, a tattoo of a clock appeared on my arm.
At this point, I couldn't even fathom the sheer absurdity of the situation, but then again, what's life without a little madness?
'Just wait, you fools, today would be the last day you'd get to live.'

As I walked through the halls leading to the cells, I couldn't help but wonder.
How am I supposed to kill everyone within this detention center? I mean, I could go about killing them bit by bit, but it'd only be a matter of time before I'd be found out, and to sum it u, I wouldn't be able to complete it within the time limit.'
My thoughts were muffled, the only thing I wanted to do was kill, that was the only thing I could think of, however... I lacked the means to commit such a m******e on a large scale. If I were to sum it up, then we were roughly around nine hundred inmates, and each of them would be at different places at different times during the day, then... What if I carried it out when everyone is asleep and in their cells?
But that begged the question, how was I supposed to kill everyone in such a short amount of time?
While I was thinking, I felt someone bump into me.
I quickly bowed my head apologetically since I was playing dumb.
As I tilted my head a bit, my gaze fell on the tattoo of the person whom I'd bumped into.
It was the teenager who'd hit me till I was lying at death's door.
My body trembled in rage, but from an outsider's point of view, it might have been confused for fear.
He stared at me silently, a hint of surprise in his eyes, before he regained composure.
"Hmmm, you're still alive, filth?" He questioned.
I wanted nothing more than to clasp my hands around his neck, but I held back.
Rather, I decided to act the part of a traumatized fool.
I shuddered, then took a few steps back.
My actions seemed to have amused him as he chuckled silently.
"My my, don't tell me, you are scared? Hahaha... This is why you should've just died back then, rest assured you'll be going through the same experience over again, who knows, this time it might be worse." He threatened.
To make my acting seem realistic, I fell on my knees and trembled like a frightened cat, staring up at him with a facade of a silent plea in my gaze.
Opening my mouth, I concentrated on saying some words, but no sound came out; however, he read my lips.
"Please... I'm begging you, please don't?." He curiously repeated.
He lingered for a moment, then suddenly burst out laughing.
"Idiot." He mocked before leaving.
As soon as he did, my expression turned icy.
If I could have probably felt at the moment, then I'm sure I would have been delighted to know that my prey was still alive and well and full of himself.
'Enjoy the little time you have left, it won't be long before I claim your head.'
As I rose to my feet, an object at the corner of the corridor caught my gaze. It was a flammable gas cylinder, and just like that, the answer to my problem presented itself.
'Yes... That could work, I'll blow the entire juvenile center up, that much should kill them all, no?’
