Andrea turned her head to the sound of Raven’s voice. She had just stepped off the last step of the stairs after following Ulric out of his bedroom.
As soon as Ned had dropped the bombshell, the sound of a commotion outside the house had pierced the air and reached her ears as though a bubble had been popped, and the real world came rushing back in with a vengeance.
