Once the kids were asleep, Drew poured them both a glass of wine, and they settled down on the sofa, soft jazz playing in the background. She could tell by the smirk on his face that he had something on his mind and was just waiting to tell her what it was. Taking the offered glass of wine, she took a sip before she leaned back on the sofa, waiting for his comment. She knew it wouldn’t be long.
