“Whatever you’re trying here, Nova. Stop.” -Vincent growls, his voice deep and raspy as he stares at Novalie. He scowls, pinching the bridge of his nose, trying to calm himself down. He tries to tear his eyes away from her, but he can’t help himself, he seems to be in disbelief at the audacity of this young woman to wear something so skimpy and revealing. It’s not like she looks ugly, she looks fascinating! She looks like a goddess. But Vincent knows this isn’t right. “This.. you and me.” He points his finger to Novalie and then himself. “It’s not gonna happen. Your father is my best friend, JESUS! I cannot do that to him.” -Vincent says, trying to reason with Novalie. “Oh for f**k’s sake, Vince! Can you stop thinking about my father for a moment?!” -Novalie protests, annoyed. Her voice so soft and low, it almost sounds like a whisper. “Why can’t you see what we have here?” -Novalie corners him. Novalie wore such revealing outfit to provoke Vincent. She wanted to do this. She’s sick of him trying to ignore the spark that they have, just because of his friendship with her dad. She’s wearing a skimpy white satin mini dress. The dress shows off her accentuated body, all her curves in the right places. Showing off her long, shiny legs, as she strides on her heels towards Vincent. The dress is backless and the front shows a little cleavage. She wants to provoke him. She wants to make him, want her too. And if she has to be revealing about it, then so be it. “Why can’t you see what we have here?” She repeats. “I want you. And I know you want me too. Don’t deny it.” -Novalie speaks softly, her voice sounding like a siren, luring Vincent in. “You’re a siren, Nova. I mean it.” Vincent groans, trying to shake off the thoughts of Nova as she stands close to him. He tries not to look down to her chest. He feels frustrated, with how revealing her outfit is. “You know it too. You’re like the devil’s incarnate, Nova. You’re a siren, calling out to me. Your alluring voice is something I cannot ignore any longer. Don’t do this to me.” -Vincent tries to object. “So be it. I’m a siren if that’s what you want to call me. And I know what I want. And that is.. you.~” -Nova pipes in before Vincent can continue speaking. Vincent stares at her, dumbfounded. Truly dumbfounded by this young woman’s audacity. Her lack of fear of consequences that’ll follow if they both give into their desires. Vincent shakes his head. “No, Nova. You may be a siren, but I’m not getting tempted. Your father is my best friend. He’s my best buddy. He’s like a brother to me.” -he continues repeating the same words. Novalie stares at him, feeling a bit pissed off. He’s ticking her off. “Vincent.. you’re overreacting! No one has to know.” -she whispers softly. Vincent stops at his tracks, he seems to not want to believe Novalie just said that. “Nova, do you realize what you’re saying?” He questions, his sharp eyes never leaving her doe ones. But even with her doe-eyes, they’re filled with mischief. “You’re asking me to do things with you. And no one has to know?” -he repeats her words, baffled. “I mean, we don’t have to tell anyone right away-“ “Stop! For f**k’s sake, just stop!” -Vincent cuts her off. He feels a tinge of fear by this girl’s lack of fear or understanding of this situation. “I don’t think you’re possibly grasping what could happen if word got out that you and me..” -he points to Novalie again, but keeps his finger pointed at her. He sighs, trying to calm himself down. “That isn’t gonna happen, Nova. As much as I can feel the sparks, that you’re talking about. I’m not giving into my desires. No matter how much tempting it gets.” -He says, his tone holding a hint of authority to it. Vincent doesn’t want to admit, but he wants Novalie too. But it’ll complicate things, if the word ever gets out. He doesn’t want to ruin his friendship with James. “Get out, now, Nova. I need some time alone.” -He says, coldly. Turning away from Novalie and walking towards the window. He lets out another sigh. Why did things have to be so complicated? Novalie stands there, taking in what Vincent just said. She takes a deep breath, her doe eyes filled with mischief, as if a plan brewing in her. “Fine.. I won’t force you, Vince.” -She speaks in a soft tone. “Since you don’t want me, I plan on f*****g a stranger tonight. Consider it, my way of getting over you.”
