Olivia's pov “Someone must have let them in, those gates never open for anyone else.” Mendoza said he wore his jacket. So did I, we rushed down stares gathering all the guards we could find, somewhere already lined up for me from the corridors to the outside snow. I mindlinked Marcus, but there was a silence I could not quite understand. I could feel Mendoza's heavy footsteps behind me, his breathing was heavy yet easy. “It seems the princess let her people into our pack, she must have betrayed us!” Sharon exclaimed, while standing at the main door. She picked her nails like the situation was an easy one. I had already lost a lot in my pack, I lost my pup too. Why would I ever endanger anyone else. The feeling of the cold floor against my bare skin sent tiny needles into my body.
