CHAPTER 3 Avela's POV

"Last day of exams today guys, lets do something this weekend please no excuses Owami" says Amanda when we meet on the way to school. I know she wants to have fun with us before she lives for Cape Town for her modelling school in six weeks time. I will miss them all atlist they have their s**t together unlike me. "Do you have to make a fuss about as if you passed, oh but then again its not like you need to pass to go to modelling school". Owami answered with a sneer. "Says the one who had no choice but to do as she was told from which subjects to choose from to her career choice, are you jealous that i will be famous and travel the world while you stuck in SA?". Amanda says, with a smirk . We all knew the argument won't end now even though we don't know when it started. "Oh please anyone can starve themselves to look like you or even better to get to your school" Owami wasn't one to give in, our phones rang and i was so happy because soon they would ask us to comment. I didn't check mine because I hated gossip and judging by the groups that were scattered all over the school yard I knew someone was going to have a bad day.

Siya has been quiet these past days even on our group chats he won't on anything I say ever since I forgot his birthday. Truth be told I didn't forget, i thought I'll be back early on one of my secrete dates with Zola but no such luck. Siya called me yesterday but I was with Zola and he would let me answer the call, he wanted more time with me.

"Aves are you still thinking of that secrete lover of your, you cant even give us your attention for few minute?" says Amanda getting me out of my trense, when I look up they all have this bored expression. " No I have been thinking about Siya, I mean how long is he going to stay mad at me for" they all look at me again confused. "Siya was looking for you yesterday he said you weren't answering your phone" Asa answered. I felt bad and decided not to explain anything to them especially if it has Zola, but Amanda couldn't help herself and said " You were with Zola weren't you, I don't know why Siya is still chasing after you because you don't deserve him". " Can we do something this weekend or not?" Asa changes the subject, thank God. "It's been too hot these days lets go to the beach, we can borrow father's car please Asa he won't say know to you". says Amanda.

Our phones rang again we checked maybe its the teachers since the is a school w*****p group. Not that I cared since the it was my last day in high school, I survived high school.
