CHAPTER 7

607 Words
Hi everyone sorry about the mix up of the chapters and i wont any excuses about being a new writer, I just wanted to express my apologies. Avela's POV "So what are your plans for next, oh and do we keep intouch seeing that we haven't spoken in weeks?". Asked Amanda while we at the of the house preparing coals for a braai( bbq). Siya invited them over to cheer me up but he announced it in the group as a farewell party for Amanda since she'll be living the day after tomorrow. "I don't know I haven't thought about it let alone apply anywhere". I answered looking over my shoulder for Siya to come help because I wasn't ready to talk about my feelings yet let alone hearing the I told you so's. With Amanda I knew she was going to remind me of how stupid I have been. "As for whether we keep intouch or not thats not up to me, I'm just respecting your parent's orders". She scowls " Our parents have nothing to do with the way things turned out so don't make excuses please, your stupidity led you where you are today. But you have to to take this as a learning experience, except it happened and move on". She says it like it's so easy to do but its not. Her pap talk just annoyed the hell out of me, instead of being cheered up I felt more depressed but it was a farewell party so I had to keep smilling and nod. I could help but feel our friendship has run its course and this party was another reminder that I a failure. Owami never came to the party but I heard she went to the farewell party that was held at Amanda's house by Amanda's parents. I guess that sums everything up then. The following I woke up with Siya's hand on my waist, him and I have been sharing a bed since he's been here and not sexually. i got out of bed not wanting to disturb him because we slept late cleaning up. I wanted to make him breakfast to thank him for always being there for me with no questions or I told you so's. After coming out of the bathroom I headed to the kitchen and made his favourite beakfast, oats, crispy bacon medium eggs, pork sausage and brown toast. The way Siya eats you would think there's no food in his house but I liked watching him eat what I'd make him all these years. I put everything on a tray and head for the bedroom. He was already awake when I opened the door in his boxers but it didn't phase me I'm used to seeing him like this. " You up early, are you going somewhere" he asked. "No you are". He looked at me confused "your father called asked for you to go home, he said it urgent". I didn't find it odd that his father called my phone, Siya seems to always switch his phone off these days. "I see you have all the stuff I like, lets eat I'll go see him tomorrow I'm taking you out today". After breakfast I was dressed in a floral sleeveless dress with a wedge sandals not forgetting a big beige hat because its always hot this time of the year in South Africa. I didn't know where we were going Siya said its a suprise and I could do with some fresh air. HOPE YOU LOVE THE BOOK LOOKING FORWARD TO HEAR YOUR THOUGHTS.
