I HATE YOU JAKE

It's been a week since my birthday. Today I was going to meet Jake. I and Jake met at my NGO where I was working as a student volunteer since past 6 months. He was new and knew nothing about kids so I used to help him.  We got close and one day he proposed and I said yes. Our NGO volunteer friends were happy. Alice was one of them. So on every weekend we used to go to our NGO and after that we used to go for lunch and spend some private time and after that we used to go to our home.

Jake was waiting for me on the main gate of our NGO. Today everyone was busy so there were only few volunteers today that include James, Talia, Thea and me. After our session we were going for our lunch. Talia and Thea asked us if they can join us. Jacks asked me and I said of course they can join us.

Talia and Thea was also one of the new volunteers. They were Jake’s friend and I don't know why they never liked me. Talia used to be rude to me always. I don't know why was she behaving like this to me but I never said anything to anyone except Jake. He said she is like this it's nothing new. One day I was teaching my students in my NGO and they love me so much. I am their favourite teacher. One of my student told me that Talia ma’am told us that you are a bad person and not to talk to you. The other day also I asked Talia for a pencil and she said rudely that “it's there can't you see or are you blind.” I didn't like it but I let her go because first it was NGO, second she was Jake’s friend and third I was trying my best to ignore her.

We went to a simple restaurant where I and Jake ordered burgers and fries and Talia and Thea ordered sandwiches. Jake bought some water bottles and went to restroom. Talia, Thea and I were on the table left. Suddenly Talia took her bottle and handed it to me and rudely said “Hey you open the bottle for me.” It was so rude that even Thea said that’s so rude Talia. I was about to scratch that b***h face but Jake hugged me from back and said babe can you come for a second and by his look I knew he witnessed everything.

He grabbed me to the other side of the restaurant where nobody could hear us. I was about to say something but he put his hand on my lips and said just listen to me.

“I know what she did was wrong but she is like this. She is rude to everyone you know. Please forgive her.” Jake said.

She is not rude to everyone. I have eyes which are working properly you are blind not me. Listen this is just too much now I can't take it anymore. We are done Jake. Just don't show your face to me again. I hate you Jake. I hate you. I said and went back to the table and took my purse and went outside.

I was in a bus. I was very mad on Jake. He saw everything still he said nothing to Talia. He didn't even call me back. I called Julia and told her everything she was angry too. She said she was at James so if I want to come I can come I agreed because I wanted someone by my side.

I went to James. They were sitting and watching some series on Netflix. They switched it off after I sat opposite to them. I told them everything Talia did and what Jake did. Julia said I am going to kill that b***h and James said give me Jack’s number. I gave him Jack’s number. He called him but he didn't pick it. He dialed again but no answer. I was very frustrated by that time and Jake called on my number and James picked it.

“Hello Adair I am really sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you. Please give me one more chance.” Jake said

“Adair is not here. I am James. I didn't expect this from you Jake. She is like my sister and because of you now she is disturbed. She told us everything about Talia. You knew how she was behaving with her. Adair told you but you still didn't do anything and today what you did was so wrong Jake.” James shouted.

“James listen it's not my fault Talia is also my friend she is rude I know but you don't know what happened today.” Jake said.

“Jake I know what happened today. That girl Talia was behaving like Adair was her maid or something. We don't even speak like that to our maids even. I don't know her but the way she talked was very rude and we are not talking about her here we are talking about you. You were just standing there and watching all this and when Adair was about to do something you grabbed her and making her understands. Bravo.” James said.

“I talked to Talia about this but she is stubborn she didn't listen to me.” Jake said.

“Then this is your problem not Adair’s.” James said.

“Please James let me talk to her.” Jake said.

James looked at me and I nodded in no he took my sign.

“She don't want to talk to you so don't call her and disturb her if she feels like talking to you she will talk to you till then don't you dare call her or I will beat you to death.” James said and cut the call.

After that Julia give me a hug and said not to think much because I am kind of an over thinker that thinks a lot. James said if Jake disturbs you again tell me I will break his bone. He is seriously my big brother. Then Julia and I headed towards our home and like I said I think a lot and I was thinking about why Jake did this. I really hate him but the question is should I forgive him or not?
