BIRTHDAY

I was looking into my mirror as I was wearing my birthday dress which was a wine red dress ended just above my knees and sweat heart neckline showing little bit of my cleavage and collar bone and applied little bit of makeup with wine red lip shade matching my dress with black heals. Caylin choose this dress for me. Caylin is my best friend from college. Julia is my best friend from school. Julia called me asking where I am right now. I told her I am ready and leaving. She was with her boyfriend James. I will pick them up from James’s house and then we will go to the concert where my boyfriend Jake and our friends will be waiting for us.

I drove to James house. Julia and James were already waiting. I got out of my car and Julia came running and wished me Happy Birthday then she saw my dress and commented.

“Isn't it too much revealing” and James also said the same. I was like ‘Hey it's my birthday let me have some fun don't spoil it. Julia was little jealous of Caylin as I was getting close to her that is why she never liked what Caylin choose for me and James being James was always on Julia’s side. We drove to my college.

Caylin and my other best friend Yelin she was from other college but was Caylin best friend from school and now my best friend also. They were waiting for me outside the gate with a cake. I parked my car in the parking. They came running towards me. We did our group hug. Caylin and Yelin started screaming.

They both said at the same time “someone is looking hot is this all for Jake or you are planning to kill other boys too.” They both knew how to cheer me up. I introduce them to Julia and James. We went inside my college and there was my boyfriend Jake waiting for me with a red rose and a chocolate cake in his hands. My other college friends also came with a chocolate cake and I was like ok I know it's my birthday but I don't like sweets and that include chocolate cakes too. Jake hugged me and kissed me.

“Looking gorgeous baby but isn't the dress too much revealing” Jake said.

I just rolled my eyes why is everyone complementing on my dress it's my choice. I just don't like when people say don't wear this don't wear that. it's my skin and I am comfortable in it so let me wear anything I want. Alice mine and Jake’s common friend said he is nuts you are looking fine they don't know anything about fashion. I cut the cakes. We went inside my college where concert was happening. My college arrange few games and Jake participated in few and won and all the girls started jumping all over him and within a second he forgot I was just behind him. I just couldn't take it anymore he was my boyfriend, he has problem with my dress, and he has to show off in front of the girls, he has to flirt with them then who the hell I am. I just went to the washroom I knew his saw this and was behind me but I close the door of the washroom. I was just hell angry it’s my birthday and just for one day I can't be happy. I just hate everyone.

Then after sometime I went back to them. Jake said he was sorry and I said its fine. We clicked pictures. Julia and James were getting bored and Jake was also not interested so they decided to go to a café or bar. It was my first concert in my college and I wanted to attend that with my friends Caylin and Yelin but I wanted to spend my day with Jake too.  After a lot of thinking I decided to go with Jake, Julia and James. Caylin and Yelin were very sad about it they wanted to celebrate my birthday with me. I said I was sorry for leaving them. They said ok no problem it's your birthday if you are happy than we are too. So don’t worry about us and go and enjoy with them. I know there was sad but they want me happy so they didn’t say anything.

We drove to the nearest cafe but it was full so we drove to the other cafe and bar but it was little far away. When I was driving James mom called him.

“Where are you” James mom said.

“I am with my friends” James replied.

“Which friends” she asked.

“I am with Davis and all” he lied to his mom

“Ok fine” she said and cut the call.

“Why did you lie James?” I asked.

“Actually we had a little argument and she took my car keys and said that I am not allowed to go out of the town. Now let me call Davis before she calls him and asks him where I am.” James said as we all laugh. He always argues with his mom and in return he gets the punishment.

He called Davis. I don't know who Davis is? I was just driving. James have lots of friends some of them I knew and some of them I don't.

“Hey bro listen to me carefully. If my mom calls you just tell her that I am with you.” James said.

“Hi James ok fine but what did you do now and where are you.” the other side said. To be honest it was the most beautiful voice I had ever heard. My heart just skips a beat and my concentration was totally on that man's voice.

“I did nothing I am with Julia and her friends and mom doesn’t know this.” James said

“Ok fine but where you are right now.” the other side said.

“We are out of town please help me and by.” James cut the call he didn't even wait for the other side to reply. I wanted to hear that voice again. It was so beautiful so soothing and wanted to know that person more. Jake shook my shoulder and said concentration on the road babes. I scolded myself darling you have a boyfriend and so don't think about any other person.

We went to the cafe and bars. Everyone had drinks except for me because I am the driver. I just don't know it's my birthday and I am the unhappiest one like seriously. Then everyone planned that let's have a night out and I said no please because dad told me to be home before 10 p.m. They said come on it's your birthday ask them they will agree. I know they won’t because they planned surprise for me and was waiting. I called dad and as usual he said come home fast. I dropped Julia to her home and James and Jake wanted to stay together at James house so I dropped them there. I went home.

I was still thinking of that voice and wondering who that person might be. I parked my car in the parking and as soon as I opened the door my sweet family shouted HAPPY BIRTHDAY with my favourite cake which was red velvet. They knew I hate chocolate cake and since morning I have cut three of them. I just love my family. They know what I need what I want.

After changing when I was into my bed. I was still thinking of that voice. I don't know I was feeling attracted towards that voice and after that I drifted into my dream land.
