FIGHT WITH JULIA

It's been ten days at my grandparent’s place I was feeling very happy. I seriously needed this break. I met my cousins and we decided to go out and do some shopping. So my cousin Tessa is same age as mine. She is my grandfather's brother's granddaughter. She was also there visiting my grandparents like me.

Tessa and I were getting bored as we have nothing literally nothing to do. So we asked our parents to go for shopping in nearby market.

We were shopping and I was in this earring shop so I thought that I should get something for my friends too so I called Julia to ask what kind of hearing she wants.

“Hey Julia I have a surprise for you.” I said.

“Listen Adair I know everything about you so don't push me to reveal your true colour to everyone. I know who you are and in what kind of bad influence you are involved in. So stay away from Julia and don't you dare call her again. She is not going to meet you either.” Her younger brother said.

“What the hell are you talking about and is this the way of talking.” I said as I was getting angry.

“I don't want to listen anything just stay away from Julia.” He said and he cut the call.

I immediately called James as I know he must know something which I don't.

“Hey James what is happening here? I don't know please tell me.” I said.

"Adair I am also confused that what is happening. Well I can tell you what happened last night.” He said.

“Yeah please tell me. Just a while ago I was in market. I saw these beautiful earrings so thought I should buy them for Julia but when I called Julia her brother picked up and he just misbehaved with me. You know I don’t tolerate anyone’s shits.” I said.

“I am sorry Adair. It is all mine’s and Julia’s fault. We were chatting last night and were sharing nudes. Her brother caught her and then snatched her phone and read everything. You know how Julia's family is in fact you know more about them. They asked about me. So Julia told them that we met through you and now they are angry on you too. Plus I think she told them everything about your birthday too. I am sorry Adair.” He said.

I was blank. I was literally blank. How could she do that she told them that they met through me and she also told them about my birthday that means they know about Jake and most important thing her brother insulted me in front of her and she didn't even said that I was not wrong I don’t know anything. I was angry on Julia that how she could do this to me I didn't even do anything but she is my friend and I have to see if she is ok or not because I know her family.

“Please say something Adair.” James said.

“I can't do anything right now because I am not even in the town but as soon as a return I will go to meet her. Don't worry I will make things right.” I said and cut the call.

I was hurt but I know she is in problem that is why she said those things and she must be not there when her brother insulted me as she would have been there she would have stopped him because she knows me very well that I don't like to hear about things which I have not done.

After off week

I returned to my home sweet home. Julia didn’t contact me as her parents have taken her phone so my last option was to go to her place and check.

I was at Julia’s place I press the doorbell. Her mother came and welcomes me as I was surprised a bit but was curious to see Julia.

“Hello aunty nice to see you. I am here to meet Julie I said.

“Hello Adair she is upstairs go and meet her I am also coming I need to talk to you.” she said. 

I ran upstairs in her room. When I saw her she was sitting on her bed and after she saw me she came running to and gave me a hug and started crying.

“Thank God you are here Adair. I am really sorry to bring you in this. If mom ask you just tell her that we met James through our common friend and you don't know much about him and tell her that on your birthday also you didn't know about us you thought me and James were friends. If you say this they will leave you.” Julia said. After sometime her mom came.

“Adair I know what is happening and I know you were also involved so it's better that you confess everything.” she said.

“I don't know what you are talking about. I am just clueless and why was your son misbehaving with me on that day.” I said with a little bit of politeness.

“How do you even know James and do you know about James and Julia relation and they were with you in your car on your birthday too.” she asked. I know I have to play safe as one more extra word from me and then Julia and I will be in trouble.

“Yeah I know James. He is one of my friends and what about James and Julia they are friends and on my birthday was with me and my friends as I have lots of friends they were there in car and James and Julia and one of my friend was in my car. We went to a cafe to celebrate my birthday. What was wrong in that.” I said. After that her mom didn't say anything she just told me that James is a bad person and Julia and James were exchanging nudes and they were in a relationship the things which I know already but pretended like I didn’t knew.

Sometimes I just think like they are so strict with Julia. I know what she did was wrong in their eyes but they shouldn't torture her like that and her elder sister is free they don't say anything to her but Julia is wrong for having a boyfriend. I just hate her whole family her father is not living with them her mother and elder sister is fooling around and then there is she. Julia is a nice person but because of her family also some time behave like them. She never receive love so don't know how to show and what love is but I know me being with her has changed her a lot. I have to stop all this because I know her mother so I have to save her.

“I don't know anything about photos as I am completely unaware of this.” I said but it was true I seriously didn't know about them sharing pictures before James told me and I never ask them as this is common between two people who are in a relationship but not for her family.

“Don't worry I will talk to her about this and just forgive her this time. I will make her understand and I promise this won't happen again. I will try my best.” I said.

“Yeah please make her understand this is not good for our family reputation if any one finds out you know how was spread so fast.” she said and I was like literally what do you want to hide from the world everyone knows how well your family is doing and she is the one talking about family reputation. Seriously this family is freaking me out now.

“Yeah don't worries I will take care of it just forgive her this time and how you know that I was totally unaware of this whole situation and was enjoying my holidays so why was your son misbehaving with me on call that day. I just called Julia to ask about some earrings but your son just misbehaved and even if I was wrong that is still not an appropriate way to talk to a person who is elder then you.” I said.

“I am really sorry for my son's misbehavior as I know it's was not an appropriate one and I have scolded him too.” she said in a sorry tone which I know was fake. She then went back to her room. Julia then started crying again.

“Thank you Adair. Thank you so much I know that she will not punish me after what you said.” she said.

“It is ok but tell me one thing when your brother was shouting on call were you there?” I asked.

“Yes I heard all the conversation I know he misbehaved and I should have stopped him but I didn't I thought you won't mind and will clear it out by all yourself like you did today.” she said.

“First of all you thought you should have stopped him. Julia you know very well that I hate when anyone misbehave and blame me for things I haven't done. Second you introduced me to James and I didn't have any problem with your relation but why did you tell your family about me and Jake they didn't ask though. Third you should have been more careful while talking to James as you know about your family.” I said to Julia in hope that she will understand.

“You are saying too much Adair. I know I should have stopped him but why are you making it a big deal he only said few things just get over that and stop being a kid. I told them about Jake so that they can see that I am not the only one with boyfriend and last I know what to hide and what not to hide and how to hide things from my family. You don't need to teach Me.” she said like I was the one responsible for everything happened.

“Are you even thinking about what you are saying? Did you even hear yourself? I am trying to help you Julia you have to you understand.” I said.

“I know what I am saying and tell me what's wrong in this I was in a problem I use your name to solve it and that is why friends are for, right. To solve friend’s problem.” she said. I think she is out of her mind.

“Listen Julia you are not in your correct mind right now. You just said that you used me to get out of your problem and darling that's not friendship. I came here to help you because you are my friend and I have to come here because of you I was in it. These are two different things. That’s not friendship. Please change your definition and understand what friendship is and what was you doing and don't talk to me till you know what friends are for.” I said and left her place.
