CHATTING AND TEASING

It's been a month when I last went to Julia’s house and we had a normal fight but I thought that she would call but she didn't call me for two weeks and one day she called me and she wanted to meet me at my nearby park. I went there and she didn’t even said hi or hello she directly asked me for my phone I gave her my phone I thought she wanted to call someone but she took it and went away and started checking my phone. I was shocked that she was checking my phone she came back and called someone and said that Adair didn't send anything she is clear and he was lying. After that she cut the call.

“What the hell is happening Julia. Why were you checking my phone and that to without my permission?” I asked and this time I was hell angry. I thought she called me to say sorry but no she came to check my phone without my permission. What I was to her I also didn’t know.

“My brother said that you were the one who told him about my relationship with Jake. I said that you cannot tell him but he said to ask you.  So I came to check your phone but you didn't do anything.” she said as if this was normal.

I was now beyond angry her brother said something and she believes it and without even asking checks my phone. This is it. I just can't handle this anymore and I was feeling guilty for her that I shouldn’t have said that but here we are.

“Listen Julia your brother asked you to ASK ME not to check my phone like I am some kind of criminal. You should have asked me that I told your brother or not but instead you came and take my phone and started checking it. THIS IS NOT FRIENDSHIP.  I am done with all of your blaming and drama so we are no more friends.” I said and headed towards my place. She didn't even call or stopped me for once she just watched me leave. I lost a friend that I cared for but she never did. I felt like I was stupid enough to think that we can be friends forever. I was wrong.

In evening James and I were on a call and I told him everything.

“I know Adair she told me and I said that you can never do this but she said that I have to check her phone to be sure at least.” he said.

“I know I just don't believe that she fell for what her brother told her. I just don't want to talk to her we are no more friends and if you also want to end our friendship just say.” I said as I was still angry on her.

“No Adair what are you talking about you are like my sister. I know what Julia did was wrong but we are still in relationship and you are still my friend and one day you will you and Julia will be friends again.” he said.

“I don't think that I and Julia can be friends again as she made it clear that she don’t need me.” I said.

“You will be friends and I am sure about that and I have to go so I will talk to you later.” he said and cut the call.

After that meeting Julia never called me back. James used to call me and invite me in some parties and I used to go.

“Hey Adair how are you?” James said on the call.

“Hey James I am fine what about you any new news as my life is boring and I want some fun in my life.” I asked hoping he is going to invite me in some party as it was a boring week.

“Well I am fine and I need a help.” He said.

“You need my help. How is this even possible? Where is that James who said I can do anything I don’t need anyone’s help.” I said making his fun.

“Do you want to help me or not just tell me?” He asked.

“Sure I will help you as I don’t get any opportunity to help the great James. What is it tell me.” I asked.

“Very funny well it is related to Julia I know you are upset but I want a little help. Would you like to help me? Please Adair don't say no. you are my last hope.” he said.

“Ok sure what is it?” I asked I know I am upset from Julia not him and he is my friend and I can't blame him for their relationship so I decided to help him.

“Actually I was thinking to give a present to Julia and I am not able to decide what and how.” he asked.

“Well she is a simple girl so I would suggest that when you meet her give her a rose just a single rose but a beautiful one. She loves Oreo so give her Oreo cookies and chocolate take her to a beautiful café and order her favourite Oreo milkshake that's it. Take her to a proper date. She will be happy as she like these kind of things this will make her happy.” I said I know Julia she like these think kind of things a lot.

“Thank you so much and I really needed an idea and this is the best one. I know you still care for her and I will talk to her about you.” he said.

“No James it is not necessary I don't want to talk to her and leave this topic. Anything else you want.” I asked.

“Yes I also wanted to talk to you about something else. Do you remember Devis.” he asked.

“Yeah I remember him. He is one who threw colour on me with you and I sneezed a lot after that.” I said teasing him.

“Come on Adair you are still mad at me for that I seriously thought that you were making excuses. I am really sorry.” he said.

“Ok I was kidding I have forgiven you now tell me what's about Davis?” I ask him. I was little curious and excited about him.

“Well you know he dropped last year and this year he thought for joining college and he got selected in your university but he is in science course. He was asking me if I knew anyone from other college of same University so I suggested your name and I know your college are different you are in girls college and he is in totally different college but would you help him?” he said.

“Ok I will help him if he needs any suggestion or help ask him to just contact me.” I said.

“Great I will tell him to contact you.” James said and cut the call.

After few hours my phone flashed and I checked it. Devis has messaged me ‘Hey’ and I also applied with the ‘Hey’. Don’t he know anything else than a ‘hey’.

“Don't you know anything more than a ‘hey’.” I texted remembering the last time I send him a ‘hey’ and he didn't message me anything after that.

“No it's not like that my brother called me after I send you that to tell me that we are going on a vacation and after that we started having dinner when I returned to my room I slept immediately. The point is I didn't get time.” he replied back.

“Well what a coincidence I also went on a vacation and when you message me I was packing so I was busy too.” I texted back.

“You didn't message me either. So we are equal. So you are still in serious relationship as you were when we last met.” he asked.

“No will be broke up. It's been 2 months now. Well did you find anyone as last time we met you were searching for a nice girl.” I asked hoping he is still single.

“Nope still single waiting for the right girl.” he said.

“James told me that you are starting your college and need my help with something.” I asked.

“It's my first year I just wanted to know about college life. I hope you will help me as you are kind of my senior but I am older than you.” he said.

“Yes I would like to help you junior will what is your birthdate. I asked as I wanted to know how old he is.

“Its 26 June 1999 what's your.” He asked.

“Mine is 11 March 1999 and I am older. Haha.” I said and I lied about my birth year just to tease him.

“Oh no but it fine you are just a couple of months older.” he said.

“Well I'm older and your senior so show me some respect.” I said teasing him.

“Off course keeping you happy will make me happy.” he replied.

“I mean keeping my seniors.” he corrected but I knew that he meant me not seniors.

“So can you give me your number if I ever need your help I can call you.” he said.

I knew it's his way to get my number but I am ahead of this he is not getting my number today and not this easily.

“Well why don’t you ask my number from James. I think he will love to give you.” I replied as I know he will never give him my number.

“No he will never give me your number he will break my bones instead if I ask.” he texted back.

I know about James will kill him if he made me upset.

“Well then in that case I would prefer that you take my number from him. Till he agrees let's talk here.” I replied.

We talked a lot after this we talked about everything he gave me the photos of that day when they pranked us and turned me and Julia into aliens. I miss Julia after seeing that picture.
