KATE POV
I try to open my eyes,but all I could feel is pain. I can hear people murming. I feel pain in all part of my body. My head is pounding. I open my eyes but due to the sudden light I quickly close it. I open my eyes slowly this time and let it get use to the light.
"Kate sweetie, are you okay?my mom asked feeling worried."
How could I be saved?
Even if am saved how could my mom be alive. I looked around and see familiar faces. Mom,dad, stella,ken and Leo - my two brothers. They both died in the car accident.
How is this possible. Did they recarnate or everything was dream. Or am I reborn. I am confused but whatever it is,am very happy right now. I am determined to change my fate. This time I will protect all those that love me. And make those who inflict pain on I and my family to pay in 7 folds. I will also protect the man that loves me. But first I need to know today's date.
"Mom what today's date. I asked."
"Darling are you okay. The doctor said everything was fine so why don't you remember anything." she said looking worried.
"Today date is September 6 2018".
According today's date. It should be the day when Huston brought a wedding proposal for me. But I throw a tantrum and refused to the extent I hit myself and wounded my self seriously.
"Mom has Huston gone. Can you call him back. I want to speak with him. "
"Kate you don't have to marry him if you don't. Trust me no one will force you. "
" Big brother I want to marry Huston. Nobody but Huston. If I don't marry Huston I will kill my self I said". Trying to look as pitiful as I can. I must change the Williams family fate.
"Kate we will talk about it at home.okay". said dad with a voice leaving no room for argument
Marrying Huston is the first thing in my plan then everything else will fall into place. This time I won't let anyone destroy my family. With that thought I finally put my mind at rest and sleep peacefully.
----------------------------------------. When we got up I decided it time to let Stella have a taste of her own medince. Since I am sick, Stella has been acting as the ideal daughter. Being obedient and attentive. Trying to make herself a place in the family. Since she has been doing that,I only have to help her.
"Mom I feel really sick right now. I want to eat homemade snacks.I feel nauseous with the thought that the servant will have to cook for me. I want homemade snacks but I don't want you or the servant to do it for me what should I do mom?. I said pretending to be move almost to tears.
"Darling don't cry. I will have Stella make you some homemade snacks. Stella what are you waiting for you heard her right?". Mom shouted at her.
This scene looks like a boss reprimanding her servant.
"Mom why should I do that. Am also a daughter of the Williams family. I deserve respect also she said. " Well I guess it time to put this locus flower in her place.
"Mom but I remember that the Williams family only has one daughter and her name is Kate Williams. Mom am I the adopted daughter. I just want a homemade snacks. Mom no one loves me in this family. Fine I will leave I said."
"Stella don't make me repeat myself. Go in there right now".
Mom looked very angry. Stella has no choice but to just leave and prepare the snacks. But how could I let her leave like that.
"Stella I have decided that you will not only make mine but for the whole household since they all have be restless since my attempt. Thank you for trying to help out. "
I said while putting on my best smile as I could at the moment. Stella could only nod her head as a sign of agreement since Mom is still glaring at her. I did as if I didn't notice the murderous look she was giving me. If looks can kill I would have be 6 feet beneath the ground.
After hours of suffering and torture and pain, Stella is finally done.
"Mom let have the butler taste it first".
With that sentence,the anger Stella has been trying to control suddenly went out of control. What do you mean. That I poison the food. You are so despicable Kate just so despicable, having such a way of thinking about home me your sister.
"Stella you misunderstand.I just want him to taste it if it doesn't contain the ingredients the doctor said I should avoid. About thinking of poison, I didn't say that you did by your self. What were you even thinking saying such things about me. And I don't have a sister I only have two brothers."
Realising how stupid she was she kept quiet looking pitiful as if she has just been bullied. Haa what a great actress. But am not even done yet.
"Mom am not eating. I already lost my appetite."
I said pretending to leave.
"Kate you must eat at least small. Your sister has been in the kitchen since. Please try to eat."
"Ok mom for your sake".
I eat a little. Although the food taste anything far from being delicious am not giving up on my plan.
"Wow mom this food taste really delicious. I love it. Mom it seems like sister really had experience in cooking. She must have been Cooking for a large number of people before. Mom how about she should be cooking for the family from now on, since sister loves it. And am sure sister is so obedient to do that at least for mom and dad. Right sister.
Although the word I said seems so harmless. It implies that she is an adopted child that has experience in cooking for large crowd of people. It also means that she is in a place she deserves to be. She can't also leave there even if she wants to because she has to promote her image as the obedient child she claims to be. In one sentence she can only be a slave to our William family.
Stella also understand this since she is used in using this method for others but unexpected she has been trapped to a maid with the same method.
"Yes mom. I love cooking please give me a chance to be cooking for this great household. She said biting her tongue.
"Mom I feel dizzy. I want to go rest in my room for a while."
I said looking at Stella with a wicked smile.
