Katherine woke up with a heavy heart, not knowing whether she should get up or keep lying helplessly on the bed. However, it was Monday morning. She must get up and prepare for work.
She tossed and turned a little while before she shot up from the bed with her eyes still closed. She grunted in frustration, roughing her hair as she slowly opened her eyes and peered confusedly at the window.
